Life lands on Earth from outer space?

Check out these links below.  This is really cool stuff!

Did DNA land on the Earth in 2001 from outer space?
Some scientists are saying it did.  In the form of a red rain that fell onto India.  At least 50 tons of the material!!!
Is this evidence of panspermia?  Some scientists are saying that this could be evidence that points towards that theory.

Red rain could prove that aliens have landed

Personally I'm not quite sure i believe it, but who knows what could be out there.

What has been established concerning this incident (lastly by British scientists) is that the "red rain" does indeed contain DNA.  However, this does not mean it is "alien" DNA.  If a storm or some other event propelled DNA from earth into the atmosphere (red algae from the ocean, maybe?), this could account for the DNA in the "red rain."  However, it may well be DNA from some "other worldly" source.  Although scientists have established that the "red rain" contains DNA, they still cannot pinpoint its origin.

So, as it stands, who knows?

The latest "revelation" (that sounds so dramatic, but I couldn't think of another word) is that folks saw an explosion in the sky before it happened.   That lends to the idea that it was from a meteor that blew up in the atmosphere.

I hope they find out it's alien DNA.  I think that would be so awesome!  I want to see something definitive in my lifetime.  Something that shows there's other life out there.  That would be soooo  danged exciting!

I keep hoping they find something on Mars.  But I think until there is actually a manned mission there everything they find there is going to be up for suspicion.

I've heard stories that there may be something planted on the back side of the moon.  Something from either an old Earth civilization or from an alien race waiting for us to find it when we're ready.  Now something like that would be very cool.  Talk about getting the imagination going.  Talk about opening our minds to new possibilities for our race!

I hope they find alien DNA, life, what-have-you as well.  It would be awesome.  However, most religions would be turned on their heads (which is why I think certain "findings" are kept secret).  Heck, religious texts would definitely have to be reinterpreted (not rewritten).  People that are highly religious would go nuts, but could not deny it.  Most of them would probably say they were "demons" or some such nonsense.

Anyway, I hope they find alien DNA as well.  Although, I believe that if they do, we won't be told that fact.

Religions need to be turned on their heads.  Then maybe we could leave that non-sense behind and move ahead as a species.

There are some religions that would have no problem with the news though.  The asian religions don't have any problems with science and progress.   Actually, I think the western religions would be okay if people would quit with the literal interpretations.

Ever read the Brookings Report?  It's pretty interesting...

Sweet.  I actually have heard of it somewhere (I remember the name), I just have not read it.  Thanks for the link.

BTW, I should not make generalizations about religions.  I should have specified the religions I was talking about (Christians, etc.).  I apologize for the generalization.  I really need to improve in this area of my posting prowess (hahaha), or unprowess.

I saw on the cover of The Globe a few weeks ago that Jewish aliens landed on Earth. Funny part was though, is the pics of them, they were dresed like Amish.
