OK, this isn't a rumor, http://www.wurmonline.com/, but it's official: Worm Online goes gold on June 1st. Has anyone had experience with this? Sounded interesting from what I read about a year ago, somewhere. Gives choice of free account or low cost account (5 Euros or 6.2 US$). Let the recommendations and warnings roll!

it has a good community.... which is likely to stay since 1337 noobs can't tie there shoes. and GMs actually do monitor.
its a very good game with some interesting PvP though its minimal in visual ownage, death really sucking, and the best crafting system out there. it is by far one of the games that have a extreamly good value for the right kind of person. though crafting and mining can be boring if you aren't doing it for a reason or if you can't find something to do. both of which shouldn't happen.
you can build your own house, towns. almost every object is player made. except for the start town, and perhaps event items.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
