If Microsoft and Steam combined

If Microsoft bought steam and combined the Xbox play anywhere system with Steam would you be excited about this combination?

    Valve is worth too much for Microsoft to make that move, it would also be blocked by the FTC.

    I'll take anything if it means PC game publishers will stop forcing dozens of different launchers on me whenever i want to play. If this would just add another launcher instead of the only pc game launcher, then no ty.

    Anyone that thinks Valve is worth more than Microsoft, is daft.

    Valve is worth 1/20th what Microsoft is worth, but it would be too expensive a move to buy Valve considering the size of the gaming market. However, I have heard of buyouts by smaller companies like Broadcom trying to buy Qualcomm.

    No. I wouldn't be excited for a buy out.

    However, if Microsoft simply put their games back on Steam I'd be excited... looking at you State of Decay 2.

    Almost gave you an agree.  Maybe whoever bought them would force the gang to actually bring the Half-Life series back. :D
