in Camelot Unchained
Don’t know why I waited so long... this is gonna be awesome! Bye bye vanilla mmos (looking your way eso) ... gonna be killing me some real mids and hibbies within a year! Can’t wait to build and actual NON instanced house (again looking at you eso Lol) and own DF 24-7 (looking at you middies and hibbies)

    I just funded the game last night as well - specifically after watching Jacobs’s weekly wrap up. I’m looking forward to the upcoming beta. This is the first game I’ve crowdfunded or paid for prior to having an actual launch or head start date that was set in stone.

    Welcome aboard. :) There is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Launch within a year seems too optimistic to me. But since you are now backers, you will at least be able to kill some folks during beta testing during the next year.

    Will be buying into the game as soon as my check is posted to the bank. I am really stoked over this game. I haven't been a super fan of PvP in the past since my reflexes as a 63 year old don't hold a candle to you young whippersnappers (lol), but the crafting looks to be AMAZING. I really liked the crafting set up of DAoC and it looks to be improved from that.

    Looked interresting until i saw PvP only... We are currently drowning in PvP games in general. Thanks but no thanks.

    I'm looking forward to CU as well, and I'm also a super fan of DAoC - but, the crafting in Dark Age was horrible... you had to buy 100+ stacks of each mat from vendors and then huddle around a crafting station in TNN, Camelot or Jord... it was extremely expensive, time consuming, and unless you were alchy unrewarding. That's my recollection and it's been a long time.. but, I digress - can't wait for Camelot Unchained.

    After playing Bless and finding a good game that needs some high end pvp content i can highly say CU will be my last mmo. 20Y of mmos, always trying to find something good as DAOC was. DAOC FFA servers were the best mmo fantasy experience ever. 

    PS: CU Beta 1 will be weekend only, 24h, 3 classes, healaer, ranger and heavy fighter.

    Bless is a good pvp game, instanced and open world currently in Beta :) It needs more content and you can reach end game in less than a week.

    Now that you put it that way, crafting was extremely frustrating, not to mention expensive depending on the craft. My main was a Fletcher, never poured so much coin down a money sink....still I liked crafting and salvaging weapons and stuff for metal bars.

    Meh, I prefer to post here, I don't do well in the "ivory towers" most development sponsored forums typical are. 

    Not saying CUs is, despite being an alpha backer since the KSer I've never even visited them. 

    Probably the only reason I'm not banned by now.

    Just signed up and bought the Warrior 2.0 pkg. Waiting for the 4th of July when Beta1 might start. If not then, I'll just pass time until it does. Waited all this time so a few more days won't hurt.
