Yeah, Failed to do good in other country's then comes to U.S and is buy to play on steam. Obviously a scam to the free to play community that the U.S has. Company's that promise what they preach succeed, but when they said it was going to be a free to play title then switch to a payment method be sure they wont listen to you once they start selling gear or making you buy items to get higher enchants, cosmetically ran games have a higher chance to actually making it then a buy to play pay to win game. I had really high hope's have actually getting a chance to play this game but free to play titles will only have my heart because I am apart of the FTP community, that pays for things in the game which usually out weigh's the expense to buy the game if it is a good game, but in my eye's this games already dead more dead then archeage.

Free to play has a bad taste in a lot of ppls mouths cause its usually done shotty. I think buy to play is correct but it would be nice to have a free trial. I prefer guild wars 2 or warcraft payment over anything free, mainly because free games usually make me feel like i have to pay $15 from their vip (swtor-dcuo) to get the necessary things to play it correctly. But im sure there are versions of free games that do it right(path of exile), i just wouldnt expect that from an asian developer. I feel like f2p would be worse for this game.

A true gamer, looks and judge a game by game play videos mostly, streams, etc. and not some .. CGI video made by a company who mostly create games, and not "shinny cgi videos" for you to like.

Sorry you are not one of us. One day maybe ..

EDIT: Maybe you will like this one :  Is pretty decent.

Hey guys, no frame drops in this trailer. That's an improvement... oh wait that's because there was no game play. Compliment rescinded.

It's becoming clear as day Neowiz is throwing this whole venture together on a shoe string budget looking to cash in on honeymoon period ignorance. The NA version of the website is trash, their videos look thrown together with system font translation text, the Emissary program is borderline scam, and that press conference...

I read that Sodapoppin never even knew he got "accepted" in the Emissary program because he never even applied lol. Not sure if it's true or not, but if it is then this doesn't look good.

As for the cash shop. I still can't find any info on what was said from some people; that there are items that give attack power and also I saw a lot of people asking if pet scrolls were in the cash shop which I assume they don't want it to be.

I like how people try to make it sound nice by saying "pay for convenience", but if it gives you something that would help you do stuff faster than others and gear up faster than others, so that you can trash up people faster than others than this is p2w in my eyes.

This game already bankrupted 2 times, explain to me again why it would work the third time

Well honestly a lot of games fail because developers/publishers don't listen to their community. For example Wildstar is a good example of an exceptional game that failed because they didn't listen to the community.

With a proper rework it's not impossible if the game is good, but lacks/fails certain things, however reworking a game making it B2P, then adding Premium and Cash Shop is almost a sure fail.

I personally was quite pumped for the game, but with how bad they handle their press yesterday I'm doubtful on how they will handle the game if they can't handle a simple press.
Might just wait few more days for the new Path of Exile league and play till BfA comes out instead of Bless. Will all depend on what they show us in the next 2 weeks.

There is just way to many attempts to keep players uninformed of information on this...

No Q/A... like how many character slots? Bag/bank space unlocked in-game or minimal with a cash shop focus? This game is meant to have a big focus on mount/pets... how many slots there and is it cash shop focused to increase. What is the premium sub benefits that you have to buy if you want access to the game.

The announcement says they will only be releasing information on game content ON RELEASE date...
"* There will be an additional detailed announcement on May 28 about playable game specifications (content)."

Also selling 2 days head start but you cannot buy until the 2 days starts ticking down...

Like i said at the top, just to many attempts to keep me uninformed about this game and its going to keep me away from it until simple information is known (shouldn't be to much to ask for at those prices they are charging).

All the reasons you mentioned is what makes me very suspicious about their intentions for this game.

Seeing as they already failed 3 times in the EAST with a EASTERN style game then this is their LAST CHANCE for success.

    Do they...

    1. Plan to keep working and improving the game the best they can to make sure it stays around a long time.

    or

    2. Do a cash grab and abandon.

The lack of information can be because...

    1. They are basing decisions on player feedback that's now everywhere after the founder pack announcement.

    or

    2. They have serious P2W or pay to not be inconvenienced in place that will scare people away if they learn about it too far before launch.

What concerns me the most is the decision to add premium membership and how it will affect player retention seeing as many will view it as P2W. Some are speculating on Steam that it'll be a 20% xp/gold boost cause that's what it was in the Japan version. In a PVP game I can definitely see 20% being labeled as P2W.

I'm still going to buy the cheapest founder pack wich is decently priced. So my guess was right that it will probably cost 29,99 for the base game. Could be cheaper but who knows, i wonder why they didn't gave out the price for the non-founder's version.

their is the possibility their serious and want to make the game as a success  but they need cash bad enough their pushing it as far as they can go before everyone calls it a " cash grab " in order to get enough stable revenue till they can afford to push for more and better content to justify it all.

however for me i feel it just a attempt to make as much money as possible  short term to inflate their pockets before it all sinks and if the game stay afloat anyway then they will funnel some back an see if it stays stable then push for a better game long term.

... for a twice failed game that's just mediocre.

I know that everyone is using that argument, but I think it's totally stupid. Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 also failed in every region it launched in, yet it is a pretty big hit now. The same goes for the PC launch of ESO and its later B2P restart.

People keep brining FFXIV which was redone from scratch.

Bless was redone maybe 20% and that's pushing it, they are still using Unreal 3 engine from 2009, DX9 and a 32bit client.

ESO never failed, not sure why even bring that up.

ESO absolutely did fail, do some research. Why do you think it has a subtitle "tamriel unlimited"?
It wasn't until that point that the game had a resurgence.

When ESO launched it felt like a alpha phase game.  Lots of CTD, heavy bot population, major instance problems, rollback for all the duping exploits gong on.  The game logged you into other players accounts.  Broken quests and other stuff.  It was a ghost town for awhile.

They already confirmed that it will be almost purely cosmetics from the premium-sub. Basicly you get some monthly released cosmetics/+rotating cosmetics + some inventory slots / other random stuff.

What THEY say is what benefits them from a marketing perspective. You should NEVER listen to a salesman feed you lines, pay attention and think for yourselves.
Don't get caught up in the typical BORED gamer syndrome and jump on every newly released game with some marketing pitch.

A game having problems that you hate doesn't make it an actual failure. It's failed for you and others.

With all the games and companies that are actually failing, you think folks would be able to tell the difference. There's way to much context to be flinging the word around.
