Remember the 1000s of NOs Blizzard said about classic WoW?
Remember how they kept saying NO to flying? Even going to completely remove it?
Both times they changed their mind. Now every expansion eventually has flying (has to be earned)

It was leaked on WoWhead through data mining, its looking like San'layn are going Horde side
That means Horde get three Elves (blood elves, nightborne and looking to be San'layn) and Alliance get two elves (void+night elves).
I hope you and other non-high elf supporters are as mad about Horde getting a 3rd Elf, as you are High Elves.
(edit: Counted the non-allied races at first. Fixed it. But looks like horde are getting 3 elf races, probably in answer to the high elf drama. But this datamined one is undead vampire elves. Still, if angry about even the thought of high elves, should be angry about all elves at this point)

Though keep in mind, its obviously not confirmed its a new ally race since horde have a lot of allies (same with alliance)
But the very thought of another Elf race should be enough to drive anti-high elvers to a rage.

San'layn is MUCH cooler and more interesting....undead elves *swoons*
We knew about San'layn in the last build when "Blood Prince" was mentioned so it's not really new information nor does his presence mean that Horde will get them as a playable Allied Race. There are a lot of races that are being brought into the story that won't necessarily become playable including the Black Dragonflight, the Mantid and others that will be present during Island Expeditions.
I don't think it's a fair assessment of what's been datamined to assume that San'layn will be playable...though I hope so.

You cried for classic... you're going to get it... and you think it's going to have a positive outcome?
The more you get, the less you really get. You have 450 new races to choose from. Does it really have an identity? You can customize your character right down to the DNA... does anyone other than you notice all that effort or do they just see a class and/or a race? You have instant travel anywhere... takes a mere second to get anywhere... does it matter that there is even a world anymore?
The more you ask for this stuff, the more you make the game worse than it already is. It's been proven time and again. But alas, you're determined to help the game die as quickly as possible so have at it.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
Because that would just be silly.
I am beginning to think the addition of Allied Races was a horrid decision by the devs as they really don't bring anything "new" to the game other than customization options (since they share models / skeletons with ones already present) that could have been rolled into the currently existing races.

I agree, be happy with another Elven race, you could be getting a Kola Bear race so just count yourself lucky.
