I can name several games that have no loading screen, that allow you to customize your ship, land on planets, etc. I can name several MMORPGs that allowed you to do all that, without the seemless landing. But I will stop, a single cry per immersive game is enough.
Please DO tell and name them.
I am always interested in new or existing interesting space games. MMOs or not. Especially if they have the features you mentioned.
Have fun
No Mans Sky
Empyrion
Space Engineers
The Tomorrow War
Kerbal Space Program
Infinity BattleScape
Elite Dangerous
There's a lot out there right now. I can probably find more if I looked them up. Honestly I'm not a big fan of space games. SWG was the only one I really got into for any length of time.
Thank you. Most i know (and play).
Will take a look at "The Tomorrow War".
I was also a BIG fan of SWG. And I support Star Citizen to rekindle that SWG spirit.

Yes please.

I'm all for trying Star Citizen at some point. Won't shell out for it right now. What I really need for it to be complete for me is the ground game.

Additionally, let me plug www.spacegamejunkie.com for fans of the genre. It's a veritable encyclopedia.

Wonder if I'm included in that count since several years ago I bought one of those cheap "packages" ie let you get a taste deals. I still get the report emails. Also I don't sub to it.

If you created a account for their free fly weekends you are included. If you forgot your user/pass for the last free fly and created another account then you are most likely counted again. I’m sure if CR could he’d just start signing up random people so he can boast about how many accounts he has when most gamers now a days realize that number is absolute garbage and just a marketing tool
They are also paying a company to hire people to post great things about this game to encourage more backers. I will wait and see if it can stand on it's own legs (if it actually fully launches) before I ever invest a cent into this game. I've tried the previews and I am not missing out on anything.

Do you have any evidence for that claim ? Or is it a personal opinion ?
There are literally (ten)thousands of fans posting great things about this game. Thousands of them have appeared in person at gaming fairs at CIG booths. Which you could watch via online camera if you liked. Or in person if you were there. How would you distinguish such a fan from "hired" people?
I never trust any numbers in this industry...If they have that kind of customer support they would be working night and day to get this thing done....Something about this game just seems very fake.
