in Guild Wars 2
how long does it take for arenanet to answer a support ticket?  I would like to rejoin the game, it's been awhile, and I can't remember my password, but to reset it, I'm suppose to remember, or have my original game serial number? Well that's certainly a first, but all right. 

I sent a support ticket several hours ago for help, with no reply.

    They have 72 hours to respond to a ticket.  I'd venture a guess that is based on normal business hours.  So come Monday...

    looking at the site, if you forgot your password, all you have to do is submit your e-mail, they will send you a link and you change the password.

    Just did it now to test it. so have at it.

    I did that, but as I said for some reason, they want my original game serial number and the name of a character on my account. 

    Perhaps my my account was compromised? Though I was never notified. Maybe because it's been awhile since I logged in? no idea.  Never had this much difficulty trying to rejoin a game though.

    I wouldn't hold your breath as this is the weekend. Maybe they outsource their customer service and it's the same 24/7 but they might not in which case it could be a bit. Pretty much what btdt said. sorry about that.

    Approx. 15 hours, and during the weekend. 

    Better than I was starting to believe so I'll certainly take it.
