Grim Dawn News - In a brief post on the Grim Dawn Facebook page, Crate Entertainment devs are preparing the community for a "MAJOR announcement" for March 5th. The post begins by looking back at the two years since Grim Dawn's release from early access and the 200,000 copies it has sold since then. "Grim Dawn is still growing. We are very excited to share some upcoming news with you, so be sure to stop by on 03/05/18 for a MAJOR announcement!"

    What's the prediction? Expansion pack or sequel?

    I'm hoping that they implement a character creation system alongside an expansion or develop a sequel that has one.

    in december they already confirmed, that this picture is from from a new game that they are working on.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    Give me a console release on xbox one, ps4, and switch. I will buy they game again on each platform.

    hmm. Branching out to another game so soon is risky.

    I haven't played it yet but I'm sure I'd enjoy it. My wish would be that they go bigtime with dedicated servers and seasons ala POE, but maybe they figure they can't compete there

    I don't know. It seems savvy to me. Grim Dawn is feature complete. It's sold about as much as its going too, save for further expansions, which would have diminishing returns. The studio is probably sitting on the best PR and funds that they're going to have until a new game can be released. Everything seems favorable for a new game to be in development.

    Just finished my first playthrough of Grim Dawn and I loved it. Can't wait to see what this is in addition to Funcom's announcement tomorrow.

    I hope it's something about legit multiplayer even if it's a new project with it.

    dedicated company run servers like poe and d3 would be nice
