A lot of PC fans have been wondering why Monster Hunter World is being delayed until autumn for their platform while coming out for consoles on January 26th. According to producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, there's a good reason. "For the main Monster Hunter game, this is our first PC title and it's something we want to make sure we get right." he told GamesRadar (via PCGamer).

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
My opinion is always that it is better to make it right from the start.

while i completely agree with you on that, why on earth is that something they talk about and think about at the end of the development cycle for the game ?!
if they really wanted to bring the game to PC, maybe they should have taken all these things into consideration before shipping the game to consoles ...
it just looks like PC was a simple afterthought once the game was done and they have zero expertise on how to properly do it.
i genuinely hope they nail it though.

If you are shooting for troll status at least avoid typos in the key words of your troll.
Saying that....PC is getting more love so the game can take advantage of the vastly superior resources available. I'm cool with that.
As mentioned in this thread by @Aeander if the game is spectacular then people who own a gaming PC may end up purchasing this game twice. Sleazy move by capcom IMO.
Aloha Mr Hand !
I'll have more time to play on summer anyway.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well this is just false, yeah their are cheaters but they don't run the market, maybe a few percent more than the console side of things in games like this.
Should be able to pick it up in a Steam Sale for $7.99 by the time it comes out on PC.

Steam sale on a console title?
Or do you think Steam is gonna discount the PC release by 75% just cause?
That strategy may work on consoles but PC is another matter. They’ve got a shit-ton of competition on PC.

Please, name me even some of these "Tons of games just like it on steam that cost pennies". I can think of a handful and some of those have yet to drop below 50% off...and none compare to a Monster Hunter game. That said, I am really disappointed that everything about the game will be old news and likely every detail spoiled well before it releases on PC. Poor form Capcom, you were doing so well with every other aspect of this release.
