Hellow people !
So its 2018 and im in doubt what to play. But it must be Mmorpg genre.
Since i miss a good game with active players and alot of stuff to do in game. ect crafting, housing, the usual mmorepg stuff.
And its like there only are few games that realy has the hype atm.
Its games like:
Wow
Guildwars 2
Tera
Secret World
Path of exile
Elder scrolls online
Never winter
Warfrane
Black dessert online
Blade and soul
Rift
Basicly i tryed em all and left em for some reason...
Its disapointing just to have these hype games to choose from.
But what should i play on the hype game list in here ?

I currently tool around in EVE, but I'm more of a merchant there than a fighter.
What to play.......
and you could take a look at Project Gorgon
However, I think Legion was a good expansion for WoW (at least over all). ESO has another update incoming.
Neverwinter is the one game that I just love playing but start looking at the cash shop and think, "nope".
As for Project Gorgon. It gets pretty bad reviews on steam. But its made by Russians and they are completely reworking the game, though its only localized to russian and there hasn't been much translated to english. It looks like it could be an awesome sci-fi MMO though if the rework ends up being good. Its early access, but I'd wait for rework.
(to OP) could try finding more niche MMOs. There is Ryzom, but its pretty low pop. Ryzom is pretty awesome though and the only PVE sandbox MMO that exists.
There is SWG Emu if you liked SWG. The SWG Emu on basalisk server is amazing, sadly no direct download and gotta torrent SWG to play it, so I'm unable to play. And the CDs don't work on windows 8 or 10, and I don't want to buy it again. But SWG is still by far the best MMO to ever come out.
There is also Istaria, where you can play as a dragon (only MMO where you can play as a dragon). Its pretty oudated graphics wise though, and the world design is pretty bad (mobs are grouped up instead of spread around realistically throughout the world. There is huge areas where literally nothing is happening and its completely barren. But that might not bother you

For me is all about diverting development focus in explicit and subtle ways but always with the same result: game play that is less than it would be without those loot boxes.

And yes i tryed FF14 but i dident like it because there was alot of "invisible walls" around.
That made me feel like i was being pullet around by a red string and could not move freely around. Like a tiny sandbox with low sands. Its like playing bowling but with kids bumpers on the sides. I havent tryed the new expansions/updates since.
I installed Never winter online to try the mage, and this is mostly item shop pay to win, but i guess you can also grind for stuff. Its not bad but not good either..its like a middel drug you found in the trashcan on the street. The movement controles feels akward tho and few glitches here and there.
Now i just play LOL casual to have my dayli dose of game fix.
And in allready in to porn each day or else i cant sleep
I have been looking black dessert online again but i still have doubts..its grindy i know and the AI is poorly weak. No dungeons..wierd crafting system with farms and houses..and to realistic horse riding that take ages to get on and off ur horse...I dont know about this game..it cost 10 $
I could maybe try FF14 again but is that realy this good ?
Regarding crafting and dungeons ect ?
I don't see it on your list, and if they really will launch the new server soon, I guess there will some (maybe just moderate) hype for it too

I signed up for FF14 7 days trial and it looks ok like a placeholder until one of these new games we all wait for gets released. But lets see after the 7 days if i will buy FF14.
Then i have been looking on Elite dangerous for something new to add to my game genre.
But i dont feel like paying 40$ for the game + the expansion to land on planets and explore.
The whole game looks hard to learn to controle and understand...
SWTOR has a really decent storyline for some of the characters. It's quite fun to play it for the story. And in contrast to the game on release, you don't need to complete most side missions and still have enough experience to keep up with the main quest.
ESO is quite nice in terms of exploration. It's a game where you can just run around and visit content at your own pace, which was refreshing for me.
GW2 is a fun "lobby game" where I can hop in and pick which activity I want to do today. No pressure to follow some grand goal.
My point is, at least in my case, MMOs have changed from being these giant wholistic experiences that replace my real life, to games that each offer something fun and unique in their own small way.
Communities are very transient these days. The idea of playing one game for years is difficult. Even if you found a perfect game (which is probably a myth), chances are the stable community wouldn't really be there anyway.
The closest I've come to this strong community feel that we know from old MMORPGs is when I had my own Minecraft roleplaying server. I think the act of creating any sort of community (be it a server, game development, social media, or Friday night DnD with friends) has a powerful long-term social element that MMOs sadly lack these days.
Been playing since .. It really is a great game ..
that being said ESO would also be a solid choice ..
And you still may want to take a look at Project Gorgon ...https://projectgorgon.com/

I've not played it myself but it's sounds, and looks like something different than the usual.
And this gorgonite game..is it ready to play..released ?
It looks realy bad if i must say..but maybe it has good game play value..im open for it

Keep an eye on it though, the rework is supposedly coming along. The game looks really bad right now, but the rework is massively upgrading the graphics. However, its mostly just bugs and lack of english translation and unfinished features. It has a long way to go.

There is a lot of content and gameplay in ins current state .. More than you could compelte in a couple years....There will be no wipe ..
It has random loot which is Awesome ..
Not many games have been able to blend PVE/Crafting/and Lore into one cohesive world and experience .. Maybe UO AC SWG .. and Project Gorgon .. pretty amazing game .. But an oldschool experience ..
here is a skill list currently in game ..........and yes they all work .........

Looks like Gorgonite MMO is that Skyforge game or something.
I'd definitely wait and see about Project Genom. Looks like it has WAY better promise. Skyforge is heavily pay to win and pretty bad MMO.
