Casino or Backgammon dice?

I am going to buy a new precision dice set and I am considering which kind of D6 I should buy. It is a rather tough discussion among gamers, there are statements that Casino dies are more random but others claim the Backgammon dice are better since they roll easier on a RPG table.

I been leaning for the Aluminum 8-piece Precision Dice Set - Blue from this site:https://www.dicegamedepot.com/polyhedral-dice-sets/ but I thought I should check with you guys for tips first.

Any recommended precision dice set and which D6 do you prefer?

Casino dice are more accurate and have much better longevity, but in all honesty most dice are random enough for a friendly game. Most people don't have to worry about odds in a certain favor that slight, and you'd likely never notice unless the dice were specifically made to cheat.

Go with your personal preference, honestly. I have bought a lot of dice, and I can tell you I'm always more disappointed if I get ones that look and feel crappy, since that's why I bought something more than generic ones.

Well, some say ugly dice are luckier since they try harder. :)

But I ain't worried about longviety for the ones I am considering, they are in airplane aluminum and precision carved so they should survive a lifetime of gaming. I am still not sure if there are better sets around though.
