EA changing the scope of the Visceral Star Wars Game, this means dead project

In normal cases this would be great! But this is EA we are talking about here, which tells me they are destroying the original vision of the game, which most likely will be followed up scrapping the project altogether. This has Star Wars 1313 written all over it.
I wish I could petition for the removal of Star Wars licensing rights from EA.
