I'm not sure anyone can say for certain what it the Tower of Babel actually looked like.  It's possible that the ancients were more advanced than they know.  Technology and knowledge can be lost, especially when civilizations decline, collapse, get conquered, or destroyed by natural disasters.

The tower is a myth and there is no evidence it ever existed.

If it was completely destroyed and/or it's building materials were scavenged/salvaged and used elsewhere, it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that we can find little to no evidence for it thousands of years later.

How do you know it's a myth? It doesn't really have to be that big of a tower.
