    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henrietta_Lacks
Henrietta Lacks (born Loretta Pleasant; August 1, 1920 – October 4, 1951)[2] was an African American woman whose cancer cells were the source of the HeLa cell line, the first immortalized cell line and one of the most important cell lines in medical research. An immortalized cell line will reproduce indefinitely under specific conditions, and the HeLa cell line continues to be a source of invaluable medical data to the present day.

    http://rebeccaskloot.com/the-immortal-life/
Her name was Henrietta Lacks, but scientists know her as HeLa. She was a poor black tobacco farmer whose cells—taken without her knowledge in 1951—became one of the most important tools in medicine, vital for developing the polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, in vitro fertilization, and more. Henrietta’s cells have been bought and sold by the billions, yet she remains virtually unknown, and her family can’t afford health insurance.

    http://www.livestrong.com/article/339696-the-health-benefits-of-melanin/

Melanin is the natural substance that gives color or pigment to the skin, hair and iris of the eye. Cells called melanocytes, located just below the outer surface of the skin, produce melanin, which is in higher levels in people with darker skin. Melanin’s primary function is to protect the skin from sun damage, but it carries additional benefits that are enjoyed mostly by those with darker skin.

    Protective Function

Exposure to the sun has the potential to cause premature aging of the skin, as well as various skin cancers. These range in severity from basal cell carcinoma to melanoma, an aggressive cancer that spreads more rapidly than milder skin cancers. Your ability to withstand the potentially damaging effects of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation depends on the amount of melanin in your skin, which is determined by the number of melanocytes that are active beneath the surface of your skin. In even the most light-skinned people, the body’s melanocytes respond to sun exposure by producing more melanin, which creates the effect known as tanning. However, there is a limit to the degree of protection that melanin can provide, and it’s significantly higher in people with naturally darker skin.

In “Dark Deception: Discover the Truths About the Benefits of Sunlight Exposure,” author Joseph Mercola suggests that skin color is a reflection of the geographical area from which your ancestors originated. Thus, descendants of people who traditionally lived in tropical regions with high levels of sun exposure tend to have darker skin, and those whose roots are traceable to ancestors from cooler, northern climes are generally fairer in color.

    Younger-Looking Skin

Dermatologist Susan C. Taylor, author of “Brown Skin,” points out that African-Americans and other people of color generally look younger than their lighter-skinned peers because of the higher levels of melanin in their skin. The increased melanin protects those who have it from short-term damage from the sun, as well as the long-term signs of aging, such as age spots, deep wrinkles and rough texture, according to Taylor.

    Targets Free Radicals

Free radicals have been implicated as the cause of widespread damage to human cells. In an article written for The Sun and Your Skin website, Diana Clarke, the website’s founder, writes about melanin’s role in scavenging free radicals, preventing the skin damage they can cause. To explain how melanin fights free-radical damage, Clarke quotes Sergio Nacht, a principal in the skin care consulting firm of Riley-Nacht LLC: “It affects the delicately designed lipids that hold moisture in the stratum corneum." This is the outermost layer of the epidermis. "If the skin loses its moisture, it becomes rigid and cracks.”

    https://www.whitehousehistory.org/questions/did-slaves-build-the-white-house
Construction on the President's House began in 1792 in Washington, D.C., a new capital situated in sparsely settled region far from a major population center. The decision to place the capital on land ceded by two pro-slavery states-Virginia and Maryland-ultimately influenced the acquisition of laborers to construct its public buildings. The D.C. commissioners, charged by Congress with building the new city under the direction of the president, initially planned to import workers from Europe to meet their labor needs. However, response to recruitment was dismal and soon they turned to African Americans—both enslaved and free—to provide the bulk of labor that built the White House, the United States Capitol, and other early government buildings.

In the year 65 B.C. the Roman armies under General Pompey captured Jerusalem. In 70 A.D. General Vespasian and his son Titus put a end to the Jewish state, with great slaughter. During the period of the military governors of Palestine, many outrages and atrocities were committed against the residue of the people. During the period from Pompey to Julius, it has been estimated that over 1,000,000 Jews fled into Africa, fleeing from Roman persecution and slavery. The likelyhood that Jesus was fair skinned is really low.  Its likely his DNA would have come from....Mesopotamia however humanity was around millions of years before egypt. Sumer is considered the birth of CIVILIZATION...not humanity
He would have looked like most middle-easterners do same as the ancient Egyptians. He most certainly wasn't part of the negro race as Thoth_Moshe claims many groups around the planet were.
I think you like Fake News CNN got something critically wrong.

    Ancient Egyptians come from Africa

Its a timeline problem. It depends completely on where you are looking at the point in time.
Current Egyptians unsurprisingly have a different background then those of 6000 years ago but the standing understanding if I am not mistaken is that Egyptians from father than 6000 years ago are from Africa.

In other words, ancient Egyptians are both. they are from Mesopotamia and Mesopotamians are from Africa. at least that is my understanding. I should point out however Mesopotamia when it was highly fertile for all intents and purposes was africa. meaning people their moved to what is now africa and vice versa because its the same general area.

Exactly, they arent giving all the information.  And they know most people wont care to research more in depth.  They are telling people DNA of only about 170 mummies out the millions that were there in of a period of time (The New Kingdom as they indicated) when many foreigners were coming in for trade and commerce and probably for conquest.  On top of that the foreigners (mainly Middle Easterns) are mixed race, even the name "Arab" literally means "to mix".

And there are Archaeologists that would point out Egyptians were a different race of people from Kemetians who predate so called Egypt.  And Kemet was more than Egypt, it expanded all the way to south Africa.  What they call the Old Kingdoms of Egypt is what is Kemet.

Just look at all the different people that went through this land called Egypt

    http://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/dept/ant/egypt/kemet/virtualkemet/faq/

"Were the people in Ancient Kemet the same groups of people who live Egypt today?

No. Throughout Egypt’s history it had traded and fought with people from other countries. From around 750 BC the Nubian rulers, often called ‘The Kushites’ controlled Kemet and became its Twenty-fifth Dynasty. During this time Kemet enjoyed a renaissance, or return to earlier culture, as indicated by the promotion of the cult of the god Amun and also copies of earlier statues that were made by officials and the rulers."

(Notice that they said they returned to earlier cultures of Egypt when the Nubians came around who are a Black people)(basically between the 18th-24th or so dynasty foreigners such as the hyksos were in rule of Egypt and then when Nubians came they took it back to its Kemetian roots, at least for a short time)

"Later, the population was affected by the immigration of soldiers, traders and settlers from outside cultures, which included two Persian invasions in 525 BC and 343 BC; Macedonian Greeks who ruled Kemet from 332-30 BC; Romans, who took control of Kemet in 30 BC; and the Islamic settlement in AD 642."

People like to say 'jesus was ultimately from africa' the ones who are speaking less well use the word 'black' but those people are commoners who dont understand the full context of what they are talking about kind of like you and CNN.

CNN pushes more of an authoritarian agenda than a libertarian agenda like every major news network including Fox.

But CNN pushes a left leaning authoritarian agenda which lines up with candidates such as war hawk Democrats like Hillary Clinton while Fox pushes a right learning authoritarian agenda like the main GOP excluding candidates such as Rand Paul and Austin Peterson.

CNN, MSNBC etc. may not be progressives, but they aren't right-leaning. That's for darn sure.

I think the common theme in all the art in this post is that none of it is very good. Literally. I could do most of it myself. Ancient artists sometimes worked with limited pigments and many of them hadn't really perfected their techniques.

I think using crude art from the medieval period (and some even older) as evidence of what race people were, is kind like if we discovered people's crayola drawings from the 1st grade in a thousand years and determined people were purple with green hair.
