DNA Analysis of Egyptian Mummies Supports Biblical Story of Noah’s Descendants

KooturKootur Member UncommonPosts: 352
Kind of puts to rest the afro-centric view. It seems the further back you go the more middle-eastern and more European the mummies dna gets.

https://hellochristian.com/8351-dna-of-ancient-mummies-could-prove-biblical-narrative-of-ham-son-of-noah

Researchers from the University of Tuebingen concluded that preserved remains found in Abusir-el Meleq, Middle Egypt, were close genetic relatives of Neolithic and Bronze Age populations from the Near East, Anatolia and Eastern Mediterranean Europeans, according to CNN.

"We found the ancient Egyptian samples falling distinct from modern Egyptians, and closer towards Near Eastern and European samples," the researchers noted. "In contrast, modern Egyptians are shifted towards sub-Saharan African populations."

All the DNA results are from rulers from the New Kingdom of Egypt after foreigners started taking Egypt, its in the CNN article and other recent article.  The Dynasties before these in the Old Kingdom were different and were called Kemetians of Kemet which was a so called Egypt and larger parts of Africa.  And even in the New Kingdom there were still some black royalty as I will show.  Notice in Mainstream entertainment, when its about Egypt its always about Egypt during this new kingdom and around the time when greeks like alexander the great and cleopetra in rule.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/22/health/ancient-egypt-mummy-dna-genome-heritage/index.html

    From CNN:
"Scientists took 166 bone samples from 151 mummies, dating from approximately 1400 B.C. to A.D. 400, extracting DNA from 90 individuals and mapping the full genome in three cases."

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/wp/2017/05/30/dna-from-ancient-egyptian-mummies-reveals-their-ancestry/?utm_term=.70eea41bddc2

    From Washigntonpost:
"A study led by researchers at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History and the University of Tubingen in Germany managed to plug some of those genetic gaps. Researchers wrung genetic material from 151 Egyptian mummies,  radiocarbon dated between Egypt's New Kingdom (the oldest at 1388 B.C.) to the Roman Period (the youngest at 426 A.D.), as reported Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Kingdom_of_Egypt
"The New Kingdom of Egypt, also referred to as the Egyptian Empire, is the period in ancient Egyptian history between the 16th century BC and the 11th century BC, covering the Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Dynasties of Egypt. Radiocarbon dating places the exact beginning of the New Kingdom between 1570 BC and 1544 BC

The later part of this period, under the Nineteenth and Twentieth Dynasties (1292–1069 BC) is also known as the Ramesside period. It is named after the eleven pharaohs that "took" the name of Ramesses I, founder of the 19th Dynasty.

Possibly as a result of the foreign rule of the Hyksos during the Second Intermediate Period"

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyksos
"The Hyksos (/ˈhɪksɒs/ or /ˈhɪksoʊz/;[3] Egyptian heqa khasut, "ruler(s) of the foreign countries"; Ancient Greek: Ὑκσώς, Ὑξώς) were a people of mixed origins from Western Asia,[4] who settled in the eastern Nile Delta, some time before 1650 BC. The arrival of the Hyksos led to the end of the Thirteenth Dynasty of Egypt and initiated the Second Intermediate Period of Egypt.[5] In the context of Ancient Egypt, the term "Asiatic" – which is often used for the Hyksos – may refer to any people native to areas east of Egypt."

Now to look at the old Dynasties of what is called Kemet.

    http://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/dept/ant/egypt/kemet/virtualkemet/faq/

From University of Cambridge - Fitzwilliam Museum

"Prior to Europe's involvement with Egypt, the people of Ancient Egypt had many names for their country such as 'Ta Mery' (the beloved land), 'Ta Sety' (the land of the bow) which was used for the southern most regions of the country and Nubia (see below). Another name was 'Kemet', which means 'the black land'."

"African Centred Egyptology aims to look at Egypt as part of African culture. People mainly look at Ancient Egypt through a European bias. This is because the majority of books on Egyptology are written by researchers of European, or North-American backgrounds. There are also increasing numbers of Egyptian scholars also publishing in English as well as Arabic. However, there are comparatively few scholars of African origin or descent who work on the subject of Ancient Egypt. Their views, when African Centred, are often and wrongly dismissed by more mainstream Egyptologists."

Unlike most genetic studies, this one did not begin in a university — though it soon landed in the laboratory of Michael Hammer at the University of Arizona. Instead, it started with the customers of Family Tree DNA. Among all the samples the company tested and classified, one stood out.

Submitted by the relatives of Albert Perry, an African-American from South Carolina, this Y-chromosome was like none seen before."

That sort of afro-centric nonsense had been debunked.

The DNA testing shows the ancient pharaohs were mostly from the Levant.

Claiming that the ancient egypitans were negros is almost as silly as those that claim they were the original jews as well.

Again the same thing from this article as in the other articles
DNA is from the kings of the New Kingdom Era which is after foreigners started invading, such as the Hyksos.

"The samples recovered from Middle Egypt span around 1,300 years of ancient Egyptian history from the New Kingdom to the Roman Period."

These same people that was ruling Egypt during those times of the new Kingdom destroying all the knowledge and history of Egypt.  Wonder why.  Keep all the useful stuff and destroy the rest then move out and leave Egypt for the dust.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Library_of_Alexandria

Arguably, this library is most famous for having been burned down resulting in the loss of many scrolls and books; its destruction has become a symbol for the loss of cultural knowledge. Sources differ on who was responsible for its destruction and when it occurred. The library may in truth have suffered several fires over many years. Possible occasions for the partial or complete destruction of the Library of Alexandria include a fire set by the army of Julius Caesar in 48 BC and an attack by Aurelian in the 270s AD.

After the main library was destroyed, scholars used a "daughter library" in a temple known as the Serapeum, located in another part of the city. According to Socrates of Constantinople, Coptic Pope Theophilus destroyed the Serapeum in AD 391, although it is not certain what it contained or if it contained any significant fraction of the documents that were in the main library. The library may have finally been destroyed during the Muslim conquest of Egypt in (or after) AD 642.

I already posted this up above, but since you want to say stuff like "Afro-Centric"....Black people arent the ones ruling the modern world like the governments or writing the academic text books or controlling the museums, doing the DNA tests, doing the archaeological digs.  All the pictures you will find in that smithsonian website I linked above the pics of the artifacts and many other reputable sources.  For you to say something like everything is debunked is just stupid.

These cambridge professors said it them selves, sounds more like Euro-Centric than Afro-Centric

"African Centred Egyptology aims to look at Egypt as part of African culture. People mainly look at Ancient Egypt through a European bias."

I'll show you the pure definition of that statement

    https://archive.org/details/speechofhenryber00berr

by Henry Berry, Esq., in the Virginia House of Delegates, January 20, 1832:

"Sir, we have as far as possible closed every avenue by which light may enter their [the slaves'] minds; we have only to go one step farther,--- to extinguish the capacity to see the light, and our work would be completed ; they would then be reduced to the level with the beasts of the field, and we should be safe; and I am not certain that we would not do it if we could find out the necessary process, and that under the plea of necessity..."

    - Henry Berry, Esq., himself a slaveholder, in the Virginia House of Delegates, January 20, 1832.

If things are so afro-centric, than why is this happening

Do you even understand the articles you put out?  Look what it says

"The first hominin species, a line that eventually leads to humans, may have emerged in Europe 7.2 million years ago and not Africa—the most widely accepted starting point for our ancestors."

A "Hominin Species" can mean also mean things like Neanderthal which isnt Homo-Sapien which is what a Human is.
And in that link look at the Neanderthal and then look at what the other species before it looked like. (Click the tab "Sort by Age")

Nothing I have presented is a conspiracy, do you not click on the link, the quote from henry berry isnt a conspiracy.  I've been giving you science through out the thread.

The first homo-sapiens of Europe were black (Afro-Asiatic) according to historians and scientists, how can the modern European be the first if they arent them selves 100% homo-sapien as I have shown.  Lighter skin and blonde/red hair which are recessive genes didnt come until homo-sapiens interbred with Neanderthals. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-3028813/Europeans-dark-skinned-8-000-years-ago-Pale-complexions-brought-Europe-Near-East-study-claims.html

    From the PPT, CPB doc:

May 31st, 1921, Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The ‘Negro Wall Street’ district of the Greenwood neighborhood is bombed from the air.

Whites invade the enviable black business district, looting, burning, killing.

The police commandeer private planes. The 101st Airborne is flown in. A load of dynamite is dropped. 75 instantly killed. Hundreds of homes and businesses destroyed.

Four truckloads of bodies are shoveled into mass graves along the Arkansas river.

4,000 black men, women, and children arrested and placed in concentration camps, where they are required to carry ‘passes’.

The city quickly re-zones the neighborhood so that the railroad can be run through, thus completing the destruction of that neighborhood.

Wikipedia states that on May 31 and June 1, 1921:

…a group of white people attacked the black community of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It resulted in the Greenwood District, also known as ‘the Black Wall Street‘ and the wealthiest black community in the United States, being burned to the ground.

An estimated 10,000 blacks were left homeless, and 35 city blocks composed of 1,256 residences were destroyed by fire. The official count of the dead by the Oklahoma Department of Vital Statistics was 39, but other estimates of black fatalities vary from 55 to about 300.

The events of the riot were long omitted from local and state histories. “The Tulsa race riot of 1921 was rarely mentioned in history books, classrooms or even in private. Blacks and whites alike grew into middle age unaware of what had taken place.”

One official, the police chief, was found guilty of “failing to take proper precautions for protecting life and property, and for conspiring to free automobile thieves and collect rewards.”

“No legal records indicate that any other white official was ever charged of wrongdoing or even negligence.”

Is this a Conspiracy? Did this not happen?

My arguments aren't weak, I've posted factual data that just reinforces what scientists have already been saying for generations. You post pictures without context to try and disprove that data. You then go on these grandiose tangents about how people are manipulating history. It's the typical behavior of the "we wuz kangs" crowd

Kind of puts to rest the afro-centric view. It seems the further back you go the more middle-eastern and more European the mummies dna gets.

what? its always been understood that biblical orgins as well as the birth of civilization came from the middle east. Its just that middle easterners are not ...well...white

holy blaz this thread is something.

ok..if you take DNA samples of Egyptian mummies what you will find un-surpringly and painfully obviously is DNA of ...wait for it....EGYPATIANS! and MIDDLE EAST. holy blaz say it isnt so.

The birth of civilization and biblical stories come from that region of the world. HUMANITY however has orgins that pre-date that.

There are some people that no matter how many times you show them this data they still claim otherwise.

its as if you didnt read what I wrote.

however to be fair i didnt fully get yours either.

The likelyhood that Jesus was fair skinned is really low.  Its likely his DNA would have come from....Mesopotamia however humanity was around millions of years before egypt. Sumer is considered the birth of CIVILIZATION...not humanity

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

Please do not respond to me

He would have looked like most middle-easterners do same as the ancient Egyptians. He most certainly wasn't part of the negro race as Thoth_Moshe claims many groups around the planet were.
