That's...marketing. Is that hard to see?! In this way they will fund the tournament and present it to a large audience along with the big bucks of $400.000.
The ones who believes otherwise , try making a difference between marketing and greedy.
Plus, what others said . The title in this article is VERY missleading and is a clickbait one .
It wouldn't be bad if they held open and fair tournaments for entry fees of $10-$25 for example paid with Real Money but purchased with a cash shop ticket to enter...
However they need to remove Game Guard as I was saying earlier I liked the game and the story but as soon as they turned on Game Guard I completely wiped my drive and removed the game, I can't have something like this running on my system.
I.. actually like this.
There was uproar when valve did that too, nowadays people love it. Buy compendium support the game and the tournament. Dota has the highest pay tournament for a reason, it's being carried by the community buying compendiums. I see similarity here.
NCsoft benefits by not needing to use money for the prize pool, game benefits by having higher prize pool meaning more exposure higher competition. Hope this succeeds, i wanna see what happens after that.

I agree with this being marketing. NCSoft is a business not a charity. They announcing how their player-base can support their eSport teams is most likely a way for them to see how much more likely people are willing to spend if there is a reasoning for buying the bundle. Best thing we can do know is just look how it goes and see how much their community cares about their eSport teams.
Hi anus face, I remind you that free-to-play is certainly better than pay-to-process.
Blade 'n Shave is Asian martial arts and culture that Westerns don't know, so it's free.
Black Dump Overload is Korea's brown-tongued attempt at Westerns "martial arts" and culture, so it's not free.
And despite collecting monthly protection money unlike the home and many other regions - your troubled region is lagging behind Southern Split of Kolea in features brainless -your distributors felt it insufficient and introduced one-fee steambuns that made all servers crowded and overrun at all times.
And both games require lots of money in lieu of time to get proper armoury. When chances of getting full armoury are decimals to 0 it is pay-to-process.
I go in for the girls and to find nominations for slaves, not the crookedness of it all. I will not pay for games mired in unorthodoxy and imperfections. Polygons like 1993, and player moves like 1991? Help yourself.
lol, when a company like NCSoft is asking for crowdfunding, it's a major red flag. And it's not like NCSoft has been relevant for the past decade and a half, so who cares? Just goes to show how poorly they're doing with their cash shops outside of Asia or they would be funding this out of their own pockets via people spending on their cash shops, but cash shops sales are low so there's the plea for crowdfunding, remind me again how F2P is better than P2P? Gotta love those F2P companies using cash shop money from players to build bitcoin farms for their own personal greed, but hey, keep supporting your "favorite" F2P title, the Devs really don't give a rats rear about you. And don't act surprise, it's a known fact for quite some time now.
Role playing games trying to act like fighting games and then their founding fathers after overreaching beg the public for money. It's so funny I'm crying!

Some people need to do some research before they talk about things, it might surprise them.
