What will be the basis for challenge on boss mobs?

I'm sure there will be more than one, but generally speaking ....

Gear check?
Enrage meter?
Aggro management?
Resists?
Quick reactions?
Dance dance revolution - get out of bad circles? [I personally hate this one, except in moderation]
Strategy and coordination?
Fights in phases that must be learned?
Long tank and spanks?

I'm sure all of this will make an appearance at some point, and more, but I'm just trying to get a sense of whether the boss mobs in Pantheon dungeons or raids will feel EQish, WoWish, or something fresh and new?

Ever since I failed my audition for "Dancing with the Stars" I too have hated such mechanics in my MMOs.  ;)

Let's hope that's kept in moderation here.

EQ/Vanguard imo just by watching the vids.

Great ain't it, at least for many who are following this game. Other are not so keen but are fighting a losing battle if they think they can change the direction of the game.

Obviously there will be new twist to the combat but it will feel like an updated EQ at it's core imo.

No freaking circles, time to start studying mobs body language again.

I hope a mixture of "all of the above", with the exception of Dance Dance revolution.

As long as they go easy on the dancing (arthritis), the phase learning (I normally get paid for that), and quick reactions (arthritis again), I'll be fine.

Overall id prefer 10% action (mezzing adds, repositioning, dodging patrols), 40% proper equipment, 40% strategic execution, and maybe 10% special surprise mechanics or secret pre-quest or something.
