Torn Banner Studios, the creators of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, brought some alpha footage of their multiplayer PvP Shooter Mirage: Arcane Warfare to PAX East. They shared over 10 minutes of gameplay action that revealed several maps, characters, gave a look at UI and presented a lot of gore.

    This game was pretty bad when I played it months ago in its earlier testing days. Not too sure if its improved much since.

    With it's "medieval" Overwatch feel, I still like OW better. I mean, sure I know Overwatch is all about shooting other characters but I don't see gratuitous amounts of blood or flying body parts to herald a kill. I don't find that that's necessary -- at least not to this degree. I'll stick to Overwatch TYVM. :D

    .. oh damn, too late.
    Looks kinda simplified melee-brawler.

    Selling point seems to be ,they use rag doll effects.Aside from that still nothing on the market than can replace Unreal or Quake.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    Meh -- it's not a clone perse, but it's got a very OW feel to it. That's the sad, difficult thing for any game coming along after a powerhouse like Overwatch. We've been through 12+ years of "WoW killer" and now will launch into "Overwatch killer". :D Showing up late to the party sucks. :D

    Melee weapons again? Why can't someone pick up where Mythic Entertainment left off with Magestorm and Spellbinder? There was a game on Steam that attempted similar gameplay but I forget the name.

    Look past the aesthetics and its not like Overwatch.

    Why does everyone compare it to Overwatch, but not to "For Honor"? Heck, it's more or less medieval, it's melee combat, lots of gore..

    Sure, it the characters have some special powers etc. but in the video they don't look all that useful or game changing.

    And both games are just "clones" from previous ones, e.g. TF2 or Chivalry, both which are not the first of their kind, either.
