    Not yet. CSE has been hoping to start Beta 1 before the end of summer/end of September but there is still no official word yet on a start date for Beta 1.

    Beta 1 had been planned to start at the end of winter i.e. late March, but CSE wasn't able to get everything done that was needed and decided to redo the ability system too. So it was delayed.

    @pmaura For what it's worth, with any beta 1 pledge you have test access (when it happens, tho some tests are only IT/alpha) and offline access to C.U.B.E. building.

    Any word on when Beta is? In 2015 I heard it was supposed to be in 2016. But that year has come and gone... :/

    Latest update says sometime in 2017 - beyond that it's anyone's guess. Now that they've stopped giving out even estimated release dates, I think some of the pressure is off them to release sooner to avoid angering backers, and they'd rather release a strong beta 2 months later than a weaker beta that comes out 2 months earlier. Nobody will remember the two months but a crap beta (crap in the sense that there isn't a basic functioning game, not crap in the sense of 'not finished') could hurt them.

    It isn't even going to be close to a basic functioning game at the start of Beta 1. CSE has been very clear about that. Making it into a functioning game is what happens during beta.
