Where can I find people to play with? Any newbies out there that want to group?

in Anarchy Online
I've only completed the Arete starting zone and a tiny bit of the Subway system and I enjoyed it a lot... but for the life of me I can't find new players to level up with! Either it's a returning player (that are very kind to offer help), or it's somebody that is a veteran but stuck in the newbie area forever because of nostalgic reasons, or on that very rare occasion I met a person that was as clueless as I am but they were chatting about upcoming MMOs and what to look for...

Is there anybody out there that wants to team up and grind our way to the top? Let's start a guild for newbies or something and run a riot on the local rollerrat population!?

I posted here because the offical forums doesn't seem to work for trial accounts, and it seems rather quiet judging by post dates too.

    Have you registered?
    I was reading their FAQs and you should be able to post if you register.

    Registration is free (unless otherwise specified), and offers an extended range of features, including:

    • Posting new threads
    • Replying to other peoples' threads
    • Editing your posts
    • Receiving email notification of replies to posts and threads you specify
    • Sending private messages to other members
    • Creating albums of photos and comment on others' photos
    • Adding events to the forum calendar
    • Setting up a 'contact list' to quickly see which of your friends are online.

    Ah I found my own error!

    You had to set a forum name and use that, however, the system says:

    Update Forum Login

    This subscription does not have access to the forums!

    Upgrade your subscription to get forum access.

    I loved this game for years and years.  If they would just update the graphics it would be great again...MAKE ANARCHY ONLINE GREAT AGAIN!!!!

    Lmao that old country music  sounds a lot like whining,i think Nickleback singer got his technique from that era.

    AO is always close to my heart but they butchered the game with LE and all the stuff that came after that expansion.

    I hope we will get the private servers on some day. Original game or SL/AI at most.
