Conan Exiles News - Youtube user Delasat Delasat has posted an interesting video showing the discovery of an underground city filled with shambling undead in Conan Exiles. The location is full of dangers and a misstep might see you become a permanent resident. Not all dangers will be left behind once you leave the labyrinths of the city.

    Pretty cool. My friend and I ran through this place earlier tonight for the first time. Unfortunately did not see either the Snake boss or the undead Dragon boss. Maybe we'll get lucky next time.

    Besides the bosses was there any rare loot or something?

    I seen the video, and after he ran to the second floor after that skeleton boss there didn't seem to be anything besides a small wooden crate.

    Yeah unfortunately there's not much in the way of good loot in this game. We picked up a named 2 handed mace the other day from a random crate out in the world. Outside of that, haven't seen much. Most of those crates just have generic materials. Hopefully the bosses drop something cool.

    That place looks scary especially when that snake came out the movie "anaconda" to this day I regret ever watching it,it honest to god gave me nightmares.

    If there's no form of drops, whether it be recipes, gear, or what not, going into these are pointless other than their cool factor. Players these days want to be rewarded and having no rewards in this cool looking place will make it so that players don't even explore it, wasting the devs time for even making this place.

    Looks awesome though!

    I think most people will check it out, once. You only go to explore a place once. That is why you need to have something worth going there for. Even if it somehow changes layout every time it's not really rewarding to explore again.

    I like how this guy pretends he is dodging and avoiding creatures when any 'small time' experienced conan exile player would all ready see that he has godmode enabled.

    A cool vid nonetheless (except the music, no idea why anyone would think it would belong) and the game has potential.

    I dont like it :( The animations are not too good, objects clipping into other objects. The combat, what is dat ? Hit 2 times and run on ? can you actually kill the creatures ? How many players are max on a server, like 64 ? Where is Anarchy Online 2 ?

    The textures and lighting were not very impressive, made the place look very bland. Boss animations and clipping were also very poor.
    MUSIC WAS AWEFUL!! I muted it.

    Don't like.

    Why is everything aggro the player,why are the animals not attacking the skeletons?
    The aggro also seems like a very large proximity type aggro.

    There was a skele shooting long distance arrows but he almost walked right past a skele,so yeah the aggro seems not right.

    As well this super massive ancient city but no tools or anything interactive.Also i feel too many mobs everywhere with no reason for them to be there because there is no food and they don't seem to be attacking each other so no eco system.

    This is what i have been eluding too for quite some time,games are being made ,just toss stuff in there with no reason or purpose.It makes the world feel fake and just dull.Sure it is early but imo they won't do anything with this,it is what it is.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    This guy's taste in music = the game's animations
    [[ DEAD ]] - Funny - I deleted my account on the site using the cancel account button.  Forum user is separate and still exists with no way of deleting it. Delete it admins. Do it, this ends now.

    Well the music was Dubstep trash but at least we didn't have to look at his disembodied head floating in a corner of the screen so small mercies I guess.

    I'm assuming that as development goes along places like this will actually have some reason to visit, like good loot or somesuch. I'm keeping an eye on this but am willing to wait at least 6 months to check it out.

    I found this place but from above and couldn't figure out how to get in...didn't spend too much time looking though made a bed for a spawn point and will try again tonight.

    That's my guess as well. That this is only placeholder.
