Less screenshots, more info and gameplay please. I already know the game looks good. What I need to know is how the game is going to play and what systems are in place.

It looks more and more like this is just ARK with magic. That isnt a bad thing as i love ARK, but the similarities are unmistakable.

"once captured, a feeding trough and food will need to be provided to calm them and domesticate them over time"

This can't be real. Please don't be real.

Maybe we'll luck out and their next video will be 45 seconds to 1 minute long.

I do hate feeding mechanics. Grand Fantasia scared me for life with its feeding mechanic. You feed the little guys you get before logging off and then log on to them starving and looking like they have been abused....the trauma....

That MMORPG article is pretty darn paraphrased

Soooo?? Take this article with a grain of salt?

@Roque Kazin That is how naturally-born, living, breathing creatures are tamed - shard-based taming is still in according to my information for other creatures.

Yeah, they've adjusted the system a bit and it's fair to say it'll probably be adjusted more - you'll place a trough, fill it with food, and make sure they calm down enough to be tamed. It used to be that, during this whole process, a bunch of opportunistic creatures would "happen" to show up in high numbers and just kill whatever you had tied down, which sucked.

It's Snail Games......and if you played Age of Wushu, you know what to expect.  They are like a bad version of PWE, very bad translations on anything related to account information and payment.  Square Enix is the same way, though they are a more established company.  For some reasons, Asian companies make you do about 7 different steps while creating an account and payment....unlike western companies which is click here and you are basically done.

I have always had a hard time deciphering the Square Enix stuff and figuring out what needed to be done, but I always knew my account was basically safe.  But while playing Age of Wushu, I ALWAYS had the feeling I was dealing with back alley stuff.  It did not feel on the level.  But maybe that was just me.

Age of Wushu is a F2P game, and like PWE games, they are specifically designed that way. This means you RENT stuff.  Rent an outfit for 7 days, rent a mount for 7 days, pay for "VIP access" for s set amount of time.  You can play for free and never pay a dime, but you will not advance as quickly as those who pay.  And when you start tallying up the money spent, it quickly (like in EVERY F2P game) adds up to a whole lot more than a regular subscription based game.  PWE is notorious for that, and Snail Games is pretty much a mini version of PWE.

For a game releasing in Q1, what are they hiding? Where is the combat footage? Game play? Class/Skill info?

I really really like the idea with taming mounts. Just like I loved the idea with mount breeding in BDO.
Why western developers cant produce or patch these things into an AAA MMORPG game, I simply do not understand.

I can explain the Square Enix debacle they call login's.Apparently their code to the game was shotty lots of holes for security breech that is why they added the added layers of security. As well i am sure everyone has seen just on these forums cases of tons of accounts hacked, stolen problems with support getting accounts back etc etc, devs like to avoid those problems if they can.

As to the taming....and WHY exactly do we need to tame these creatures,i noticed they said 40 can be tamed but did not directly claim all 40 can be mounts as of right now, more misleading information?

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

The trailer is 45 seconds; however I was referring to the gameplay, which in that video is only 30seconds. Their steam trailer is only 15 seconds of gameplay. So only natural to assume what the next video will be in terms of gameplay length.
