Quick Time Events and a programmable mouse

I was looking at the Steam Winter Sale and the Tell Tale Series for Batman. I am quite bad at anything that requires fast keyboard presses but if I use a 15 button mouse and program the letter to the button on the mouse I can press it easily. In fact I can play up to 30 key presses easily in MMORPGs without ever looking at my hand and keep my eyes on the screen at all times.
I love the art in the game and would love to buy it but I was not sure if I can actually play it. Do you think I could play this series if I used the 12 button mouse G600 logitech mouse and do the QTE that way without screwing it up too much ?
I checked the QTE in this game is WASD and Q and E. So I presume the WASD is the movement and the Q and E is the other two I could macro the Q and E to the mouse . If anyone has played this on the PC you might be able to advice me on whether it will work out.
