so beta?

this isnt a dumb question asking when the actual release date is. this is trying to get some confirmation. so i'm hearing that oct-dec this year, we'll be seeing a beta, and itll probably be a lengthy beta, seeing how blizzard has worked in the past (which is good, want the game with less bugs and better gameply as possible). but dec is nearing to an end.. so it there any word of the beta coming out soon or has it been delayed?
