    When they limit their award contenders to games that were only made in Canada, then the list gets pretty small.  Mankind Divided and FarCry Primal are good games, but serious contenders for game of the year?  I guess as long as you conveniently remove Doom, Overwatch and Uncharted from the list by localizing it.

    There's really no need for this in an age where the majority of people download their games from servers across the globe.  It's not like it's hard to get the newest Polish title in Canada in 2016.

    Well NOTHING in this world is full on legit anymore,so not sure why anyone would take stock in anything posted on the internet.

    This could easily be sponsored by Eidos and limited to a very small sample size of LOCALS in the Quebec area.

    there is NEVER a best of any genre or any game,it is ALWAYS to each individual and that is the only thing that matters.
    Even to each individual,i am sure i am not alone in saying that what i like changes from day to day,meaning one day i prefer to like a fps next day maybe a TCG next day a RPG then a MMORPG,there is never a steadfast definitive best of opinion we are not robots our opinions change all the time.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    Well, unfortunately, there are lots of games out there, and a lot of them are really good.  It's great to get recognition for good work, even when you're in Canada.  Personally though, I'd like to see a tiered awards system to give recognition to more than just a few games, like this list.  That's one thing I like about IGN's rewards, is that they also show the next closest title that was in the running.

    i have a prime minister not a president 
    i speak english and french not american 
    and i pronounce it about not "a-boot" 
    i can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack i believe in peackeeping not policing 
    diversity not assimilation 
    and that the beaver is a truley proud and noble animal 
    a toque is a hat a chesterfield is a couch
    and it is prnouced "zed" not "zee" "zed"!
    canada is the 2nd largest landmass!
    the 1st nation in hockey!
    and the best part of north america!
