Hi-Rez Studios has announced a new game based on the same game universe as its wildly popular SMITE MOBA. Called SMITE: Tactics, the new game is a turn-based strategy title that will see the Gods in the game pantheon leading troops in strategic battles.

    Great game studio. There has been no other game studio, other than Bioware and possibly Blizzard, that has given me so many hundreds or even thousands of hours of entertainment. I hope this game will even more hours. Considering I love turn-based tactical games it probably will.

    I don't know. Just saw Hi-Rez in the title and bum, first think that came out from my mouth was to say "Clone!!!" . Am I right?

    Even though it looks good, I wish they would've taken the time to do something about Global Agenda. That game had a lot of potential.

    ...did they just clone Atlas Reactor??? I mean looking at the small gameplay clip it looks shockingly similar (with the addition of an RNG-based card system)

    edit: I didn't have audio, can't tell if this is 1v1 and if it is then that seems kinda stupid....I mean we already have xcom/homm for 1v1 TBS

    Hi-Rez are really good at what they do, so I'm sure that it's going to be a nice game, but I honestly was hoping for an ARPG or some small scale MMO, rather than this.

    Are gamers nowadays so stupid that they don't know the concept of genre anymore? If people are not allowed to make games of the same genre we'd all have a lot less games nowadays.

    I love Smite and Paladins, but HiRez stabbed me in the back with how they handled Global Agenda.

    That game was so damn good.

    yeah that a clone of Duelyst but can be a decent alternative of the said titles... i realy dont like the graphic of Duelyst ... but yeah the system look close to copy past.

    He's mad cuz overwatch copied Paladins is all.  But yea this game reminds me of atlas reactor.  However turn based video games go back to the 80's.  Its like calling a card game a clone or a board game a clone.  Unless they copied the heroes or something.
    Are you onto something or just on something?
