This game is still alive? Wonder what the player base is like.

I downloaded it two weeks ago and jumped back in for a few hours. It's dead Jim. I mean deader than dead. I don't think I saw anyone playing that wasn't a bot.

I played it for something like the first six months that it was out and that earned me some sort of lifetime subscription. However, when I checked my accumulated skillpoints I only had double what I had earned in the first six months. If I'm a lifetime subscriber, then I should have five years worth of points built up. Oh well, doesn't matter anyhow.

Does this mean there are more robot types in game then there are people playing the game?

I was thinking the current bots got tired of playing so they decided they should have bots playing for them too!

I had a fun 4 months with this game back in the day. I am shocked they're still working on it.

I wonder where their money is coming from. Maybe it's something like Adventurine getting grants from their government for military research or whatever from Darkfall. Honestly though the game was always interesting looking to me it just never had enough players to justify investing insane amounts of time into it

I think its sad it never took off. I think its a rly fun game. It's been said before, but it's like EVE with robots, and I think the PVP is more fun, cause you have WASD movement with the bots, and can use terrain etc for cover. But I also stopped playing cause the pop was to low. Might download it still to check it out once more.

From my memory, they're a few part-time devs with day jobs. Hence the slow update schedule and lackluster support. On one hand, they have the game in a sort of place where it can easily continue running. On the other, it'll likely never get that big again.
