    It does have 4 GB of physical memory, but you just can't use all of it normally the way you'd expect.  Of course, that was also true (with 1 GB or 2 GB rather than 4 GB) of the GeForce GTX 550 Ti, GeForce GTX 560, and GeForce GTX 660.  Where were the lawsuits then, or did the lawyers just not notice?

    Is this true? I replaced my GTX 560 with a 970 a few months ago.

    It seems like it's just a $30 rebate.  I got a GTX 970 around half a year ago too.
