I'm undecided right now. On one hand I have WoW which I am a tad interested in seeing the story's progression. Also, a friend of mine just let me know that for Jewelcrafting you will actually be cutting the jewel now, which sounds exciting. I'm trying not to expect much but I was already thinking that it should be a type of timed mini game. How fast, while still being precise, with the cuts you make determines how high of quality or stat number the gem end up being.
On the other hand, I have ESO, which has a lot of exciting content coming down the pipeline and content that has already come out as I haven't experienced any of the DLCs (haven't played since March 2015...i think ?? lol)
I bought both games for my girlfriend and have max level characters in both games so I guess she will determine which way I end up going. I have a feeling she will like ESO much more, since we both play FFXIV right now and I can't see her going back to quest text, instead I think she will side more with the 100% fully voice acted questing.
wont be hard for me when i know i will stop playing it in two weeks again. i'm not interested in the raid grind anymore, that would be the only reason i would play wow at this point unless they made a lot of changes i liked or released classic servers.
this expansion is just more of the same, no fucking thank you.
I haven't played WoW since the end of MoP. Skipped WoD and am glad I did.
That being said, I do miss WoW from time to time. I tire of the constant influx of "new shinies" that never last, of the non-stop hype for f2p crapfests, of the "next big thing" that comes along every other month and is a ghost town 6 months later....you get my drift. I have some amazing memories from WoW, especially from my BC and LK raiding days, when I made tons of friends and met my s/o while waiting on BGs. So yeah, it's still a good game for many, and despite what the sub-haters and "sandbox" fans say, WoW is far and away the healthiest MMO around in terms of population and economy in-game.
But I just can't get over the skill pruning, which has done nothing but homogenize the game even further. The utter lack of support/utility skills now just makes me shake my head. My poor shadow priest would be a shell of what she once was, as are quite a few other classes, from what I have read. I miss the community but it's highly unlikely I will return, as my s/o is not impressed with this new version of WoW, either. It just seems like they have dumbed down the game so that Grandma can play, and so the Twitter-addicted audience they appear to be catering to will have fun. No thanks.

yes i'll buy it.. as much as i'd like to move on to something different there's just nothing out there that excites me that i haven't allready played and abandoned.
There you have it folks 36% are already decided two months ahead that they will be buying Legion and 15% have yet to decide. For a MMORPG to control 36% of the market with 15% still undecided it speaks for itself and I'm glad this community recognizes greatness to continue supporting it. The success or lack of other products that are competing it also further contributes for its success.
I honestly wish the best for all current and future MMO's. I do want to see more great MMO's to do what Blizzard has been doing with WOW for almost 12 years. If anything it's just one strong evidence that this market is willing to reward those that make a difference and push this genre forward by delivering products that are on another level in their design.
I look forward to the guild or guilds I'll be part of, the people I'll meet, the experiences I'll share, the achievements I'll accomplish and the overall drama. I look forward one day to be in a guild that many would want to be part of on my server. I look forward to ride the best mounts and have the best titles, and more importantly, I look forward to make many "kids" rage quit or rage at their partners in arena. I also look forward my guildies to witness my greatness, dedication and reliability in the guild and enjoy the respect that comes from it. If anything in WOW when you perform people notice that thanks to the sophisticated meters as you do dungeons and raiding.

Interesting math. I'd venture to guess 95% of the voters in the poll have played WOW previously so in my view almost 60% of these former players have walked away from the title for good.
All a matter of perspective.
Put another way these folks are playing anything but WOW.

Yeah a lot of vets are jaded. Then they get roped into trying it again and remember why they played it in the first place.
im waiting for vanilla , current wow feels like a game made for 10 year olds im not paying for crappy community , easy 1 shot mobs, aoe fest dungeons with bosses that require 0 co-ordination , crappy boring raids that feel hollow, everyone is ful epic because you get them handed to you on a plate, teh game is just a pile of shit and im ready to re-live my vanilla days , if it doesnt happen then im done with wow
Is there a vanilla version again in the pipeline?? soz if its a dumb question been away from the mmo scene for a while. If so kids will quit before level 7, and like to see them rush in on hogger in that version

they've gone from "you think you do, but you don't" to a maybe.. but it doesn't seem very likely that it's going to happen.

I had fun once, it was terrible.

Everything else out right now is stale... except FF14
