Do you remember how thin female L2 dwarves were? These look more like a middle ground between L2 dwarfs and WoW dwarfs to me. Though some of the faces did lean towards the cute side but that likely comes with having actual character customization unlike 10+ year old games.
Archeage is a great game with a insane P2W /cashshop. If you get by the P2W you will have one of the best MMO's on our hands, but for anyone wanting to play this game don't ever think that this game is NOT insano P2W.
Looking forward to the new update and will give the game another go, sadly(on my part) this is also one of the games where i fell you need to have a lot of time to really enjoy the game.

1. players mind gameplay ! anmd Archeage offers the most gameplay features of any MMORPG
