hi all

why DARK AND LIGHT  ,the most expected game in europe ,isnt in the "discussion menu " ???

why RYZOM ,his challenger in Europe ,isnt in the "discussion menu" ???

    I think the same thing!!!!

    Ryzom will be one of the most innovating MMORPG with D&L and they don't even appear in " the menu of discussion ".

    I think there are a problem!!

    Same here. You can check the Ryzom site (http://www.ryzom.com/) and the fan site (http://www.world-of-ryzom.com/). It's innovative, beautiful and should have a better attention from MMORPG.COM
    Dark & Light is valuable too.

    yea i have been keeping a eye on d&l for some time looks very good signed up for beta and crossing fingures lol. love the graphics.

       only reason it might not have a forum is that its a french game lol joke. even some of the people i have chated with where very nice and man i agree this game might be friggin huge.

    Both Ryzom and DnL look good, would be great to see threads on here about them.  I try to keep up on both and have thought about signing up, so someone start threads on them lol.

    Ryzom is in beta 2 and you can sign up for that at the official site.

    This 2 games are made by french companies but will be released both in USA and Europe.
    For Ryzom, they expect to release it also in Korea and China.
    They are no vaporware and are almost finished (launch estimated at the beginning of 2004).

    I'm really really lookin 4ward to playin Dark and Light, looks like a great game and some of the comments from beta testers have been great (the ones on the official site neway). I agree it should have its own discussion menu. On the other hand I've neverheard of Ryzom image

    Ryzom isn't well known in US beacause they haven't started the communication plan here. They focus on Europe at the moment.

    According to a little line at the bottom of a page on the Ryzom website, they are looking at maybe a Q3 2004 release in the US and Asia, so maybe people in the US will hear more about it a little later on in 2004.

    Funny that this is a thread called "Dark and Light" but sort of turned into a thread about Ryzom. Dark and Light does appear to be getting a little more press than Saga of Ryzom though.

    Dark & Light calls itself the "largest mmorpg you've ever seen." They have quite a lot of info on the official site (http://www.darkandlight.com/ if you don't feel like looking it up in the game list.) The idea is that there is just one world that everyone plays in, it's really big, and it's seamless. They have a pretty active community site that you can get to from the main site above.
