First of all, do not pre-order just to play the game. The game is still in testing and although you're given access to the testing, it's by no means a finished product. Read the Pre-order page carefully as it details all of this.
Good reasons to pre-order:
To support RedBedlam
To gain access to the game 2 weeks prior to the public release
To help in testing
To take advantage of the reduced cost
Bad reasons:
To play the game now.
