I used to camp the tortage underhalls with a 25 level twink.. well I guess that is no longer possible... so where is the next best place for a twink to jump groups? Can I get there on a free account?

Dunno what's a twink, but if I'm guessing right based on Tortage and level25, you haven't played since the unlimited trial? With the f2p change, you can go anywhere for free (except the expansion)

AoC has now 2 servers. With the merges a TSW-esque single server tech implementation was the plan, but then they stopped with just merging by the rulesets. The PvE server is active and fairly crowded, but the PvP...

Actually there was a third one, where they merged the harcore pvp into (player looting, no guards in towns, that kinda stuff), but they slapped that into the regular pvp server a few weeks ago because it was so empty.

So, with those background, let's see the actual question. The f2p model has no restrictions on pvp, only PvE (since that's what really counts, right?

). If you were on any of the pvp servers, your character is now on Fury, and has only PvE limits (less inv. and Trader slots, 10 gold limit, no Khitai access). You can go anywhere, play the whole game, level to 80, do what you want, harrassing newbies, dunno.

However, endgame is sub-only, so I'm guessing that limits your pvp too. Meaning: free players don't get AA points, so you'll be weaker than the other players. No Khitai means your gear will be weaker too. 10 gold limit, so you won't be able to simply buy the gear either. Don't know the current situation on Fury, but if there's anyone left there (

just kidding, hi guys), most likely they will be stronger than you, regardless of how much or how long you play for free.

There will be a model revamp this summer (allegedly, I mean they talked about crafting revamp for years and then it didn't happened at the end), there's a chance the Khitai restriction will be lifted. That leaves the AA system, if you don't sub.
I'm not familiar with the pvp side of AA, in PvE it's pretty nice. Not a game-breaker, not some massive boost, but it's nice to have.

So you camped a low level area with a twink and call that PVP, sounds like ganker who can't handle real PVP where they can fight back. And people wonder why PVP servers almost always have very low populations.

@Kyleran ; that's the point, Fury players always cry on forums they have low pop, here's a perfect candidate for new blood for them (and without a subscription OP will have the shorter end of the stick, so it also could be a payback for those newbies in the Underhalls

oh cmon now... tortage underhalls was SO FUN when the game was released... you could just keep going back for pvp without having to play through much of the pve game.. so all I am wondering is if there are rewards beyond that still attainable?? do people still play.. is there anywhere to roam open pvp and always be happy? that sort of thing.
