  Except that's exactly how the first two games portrayed things. It wasn't until Warcraft 3 that Blizzard started in with the whole, 'misunderstood and demon-tainted peaceful shamanistic race' bullshit, and started retconning events and characters like a bad comic book author to suit the change, including the creation of Green Jesus, AKA Thrall. 
  
  Besides, have you played WoW during the last few expansions? The Horde, especially the orcs, wasted no time returning to a bunch of bloodthirsty savages as soon as Thrall was out of the picture. Just ask Jaina Proudmoore or the people of Theramore... oh wait, Jaina was the only survivor of the orc's use of a WMD. 
  
  Let's get rid of the guy responsible for directing three Evil Dead films, two decent Spider-Man films (third one sucked because of Sony, not Raimi), the Quick and the Dead (awesome revenge flick), Drag Me to Hell, and has written and produced dozens of successful action-adventure and horror films and TV series' during his career, and hire Duncan Jones. He's famous for doing... uhh... Moon, a sci-fi drama film. 
  
  Brilliant. The levels of fail this movie exudes are approaching the catastrophic. Keep your mouth shut Duncan, you're not qualified to shine Sam's shoes, much less critique his script. Jackass.

  That's nice and all but Orcs ARE the bad guys.  What's cool about Warcraft (or at least Burning Legion era Warcraft, which it seems the movie is based on) is the good and bad guys reluctantly teaming up against even badder guys.
  
  Judging from the previews it seems like they've gone too far to portray orcs as "humans with green skin and big teeth".  Shots of an orc baby, the orc saying whatever he says- it's not an Orcy thing to say- it's not even memorable enough to quote here.

  Remember, not every WoW fan is going to get what THEY want to see in the Movie. If they did, the movie would be 8+ hours long.
