I agree, the game will change if it comes to the west. I wanted to give a better idea about the game as such. Even if I like to play the game, it starts to get too difficult if you do not understand Chines. I would not go so far and claim Moonlight Blade can achieve Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls Online,.. popularity, I think it is still to weak in pve content to attract x millions,... but I do think that the game would attract considerably bigger audience as Blade & Soul, Black Desert,...Moonlight blade is not so ''die hard pvp oriented'' but in my opinion it's still to weak in pve to challenge ''the cream of pve games.''

Still in BETA and will suffer a server merge from 11 to 5 server, so at least in Korea it will die fast. No surprise after all.

Actually Kabulozo, They merged the servers for a reason. They were prepping to test one of the key features in the game and wanted to see the real impact it would have. Namely Guild vs Guild. I should also mention the game is far from dyeng off.. The population is growing with each feature release.

I don't know how it will do. But I plan to give it a try.

EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

Ive played about 25 hours , it has ALOT of potential.

It is a more complete experience than BDO, with good dungeons and reasonable mechanics. The crafting is okay , the world is beautiful.

THE MAIN THING they need to do is improve the combat animations , the combat isnt even bad but the animations are clunky. The skill system allows for good customization within your class , they just need to make the attacks look cooler and more fluid. Im nott sure about balance yet , but im sure classes have optimal builds for PVP like most games.

I speak a bit of korean, from what i can gather the lore is above average and it has voice acted cutscenes which is nice.

Personally i think Bless could do as well as Archeage did initially if they tighten the combat animations and add some raids. It really is a complete game as far as having something for everyone , it has dungeons with mechanics , open world faction PVP , instanced structured PVP. The option to quest or grind to level. Some solid lore.

Itt has potential , its just going to depend on is testing REALLY testing or is it a soft release. If they are still open to makking major changes this game could do really well.

Every video I've seen about this game, complains about the combat system, which is why I believe it will fail.

TheLazyPeon on youtube (one of my favourite reviewers), says in his first impressions video: "one of the worst examples of MMO combat I've experienced" and lists 15 games which does it better. He even says that after 6 hours, he doesn't want to play anymore because of how bad it is. Just one example, plenty of reviewers say pretty much the same.

I havent got a chance to play it but the graphics and game world look nice....Then again so did Aion, Archeage and some of the other garbage that has come out of Asia.
One of the more hilarious comments i've read in a while.

I havent played a MMO yet where the voice acting wasnt a disaster...That includes TSW too...IMO it belongs in single player games, not MMOs.

Originally, it was one of my most anticipated games. But after seeing the direction it went in, I'm sure its not worth playing. Same old, same old.

What's changed?  I haven't really been keeping up with the game, but from what I've seen the overall direction of the game hasn't changed much.

Anyways based on how games like BDO or AA fared it should do well initially.  Beyond that who knows, it all depends on how the game is localized for the Western market.  Plus by the time this comes out people will be getting desperate for a new MMO and this will probably be the last one with a large budget in a long time.

This is what im thinking , When you look att the horizon for MMO's bless is like the only one coming in 2017 beyond right now with a budget of over 20m.

By the time it comes out , people will be bored of BDO , it will have a great initial launch , we'll see how it does from there.

I would be surprised if it actually gets a western release

Daum (BDO) is bringing it West.

    That would be awesome.

The proof that gaming has been horrible is that people are buying every single new game that comes out.
Trends will continue, all those millions of bored gamer's will buy yet another new game, will praise it as god given then after 2 months things become quiet  and game slowly dies.
I personally think the game concept is ok,looks decent enough, but will not have enough going for it,it will be yet another shallow game relying mostly on pvp if not entirely on pvp.

We do not and have not been seeing any rpg's just games using the rpg title but offer up pvp and a few shallow gimmicks but no real role playing game.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Nah man bless has dungeons with mechanics , I was pleasantly surprised with this aspect of the game. Its not BDO tank and spank. There is potential for larger encounters in the future.

Not saying your wrong , yes we are bored , but there are some genuine good things about Bless and some time to iron out some of the others. Personally if i get 1 year out of an MMO im pretty happy

Looked at gameplay videos of both Bless and Moonlight Blade and found the graphics to be nicer in Bless.  The water seemed to look better and in moonlight blade the characters look very "barbie girl" and plastic.

Another thing the combat looked like it would be tougher in Bless than in moonlight were you seem to be able to mass murder 30 or 50 npc at a time though the combat seemed smoother and less jerky in Moonlight.

Not sure how I feel about the rumor that Daum will be the ones bringing Bless Online to NA considering the bloated cash shop prices in BDO.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

Bless is not that easy , i was expecting it to be like BDO where as long as your not underleveled the monsters just stack and die.

Bless you will die if you try to pull a bunch of mobs. They hit hard , and at least at lower levels you dont haave much AOE.

Also as i said earrlier , the dungeons have mechanics. Not WOW level , but better than 90% of games.

Indeed which is what I said, did you get confused?  I said its in moonlight that you can pull huge packs of mobs.

I am not saying tougher is a negative mind you.

I do think the combat looks smoother in moonlight though, what I saw in gameplay videos it looks more  "jerky" in bless..as in movement looks kind of stiff while your fighting.

yeha this is a problem , the animations can be improved , if they do that , it will be a much better game

Neowiz has said they will improve the combat , we dont have a timeline though

If your logic is correct than things will never improve - since developers will be better off financially by continue to make horrible games :p

For those interested in Moonlight Blade information, I would recommend my community's section http://killonsight.info/forums/viewforum.php?f=200&sid=8c64bdf6ca38cdf491c6a790b493670d

We played Moonlight Blade (from launch) for a good couple of months and have a lot of information about it.
