Kings & Heroes - New Open World ARPG Announced - General News

Industry Games is ready to unveil its forthcoming open world action RPG with 8-player coop called Kings & Heroes. The game has been in production for the last 18-months and will be ready for Steam Early Access and testing in the next several weeks.

    Hmm... A bit over the top on the combat effects but looks interesting.

    I prefer 3rd person, not 1st person.
    The graphics are a bit disappointing for a Unreal Engine 4 game.

    The game is not the pretiest but from what i gather on steam, its 3rd person Diablo-like. And that is friggin awesome ! In fact the more I read about it the more i like it. Open world , crafting , roguelike dungeons where wiping means you lose all rewards. Cant wait !

    Yeah, I read the ARPG part and assumed it was gonna be like Diablo, but all that video on here showed was first person gameplay. Doesn't seem to make sense to have a trailer set up to get people excited for the game if it's not even in the style they're prioritizing and advertising. EDIT: Nevermind, it's described as a first-person ARPG. It's not going to be like Diablo, but it'll probably have the randomized loot system and all that.

    First-person Diablo, Unreal4, looks like a good fit for a VR device.

    Any game that is played through First Person is not a strategy game as D%D was.
