    I love Paula Patton.

I would wash her feet with milk and eat my cereals with it.

    @Volgore

Seems though that someone missed Photoshopping her green skin in the official movie poster, huh? :D

Never heard of Paula Patton before, guess IMDB time.

Yep no wonder - never seen any of those movies.

Too cute for Orc, should have gotten Paula Abdul instead has the personality to match and beefy legs.

    This girl is a toothpick.

Remember this is a low budget production... they want to get back their investment and then some... it requires cutting a lot of corners because traditionally, these movies make the bulk of their money on release day. They go down rather quickly from there.

The only real good news is it didn't go straight to DVD... that says it's a 100% dog every time.

Ahh, green skin. Brings back memories of the Orion slave girl in Star Trek.

Is $100 million considered low budget these days?

Yeah this is def going down with Alone in the Dark for terrible movie made from a game.

Low budget...Low budget was that DnD VR movie from the 90's (You pnp nerds know what I'm talking.)

    It's a good joke though.

Only thing i wonder about is rating, how does a violent movie make pg13 or is this where the standards are now a days?
I hope the movie is good,it looks decent enough, the PG13 rating has me worried. It is not Blizzard but they might influence the movie a lot with their kiddie ideas,i hope not,i want the movie to remain serious and not turn into some Blizzard cartoon playhouse.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I guess they thought it didn't match the transition from red (left) to blue (right) if they put something green inbetween.

Doesn't look any better. And the schedule remains ...... tough to put it mildly.

May starts with Captain America but its the films that release at the end of May that are the start of the problem, X-Men Apocalypse and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Two big films followed by Ninja Turtles means a hold over running into the weekend Warcraft launches.

That's the weekend that Warcraft has to make it since the rest of June is occupied by Finding Dory; Independence Day; the Legend of Tarzan; Ghost Busters, Ice Age, Star Trek and Jason Bourne as well as "lesser" films like The BFG. Expect the number of screens its on to drop off sharply.

Expect Blu-Ray / Netflix / Amazon Prime etc. soon after.

This is pretty much the usual fare.

    Mass murder in entertainment media....meh.
Almost graphic detail gore alongside mass murder...meh.
    Nipples...on guys...meh.
Nipples...on woman-....oh stop right there!! Holy jesus F christ!! Someone call the pope, we got some "secks-organs", gosh-darnnit, on screen!!!!

Not saying it's a rather predominantly American mentality, but Hollywood does tend to bend over backwards to please a certain category of nutjobs and the farcical ratings systems also tend to turn a blind eye to some and throw the evil eye to others.

On that context, everything is a joke. Including this movie. We'll know soon enough, if even a hardcore blizzard fantard can stomach this movie or not.

I would rather see a Warcraft movie about Arthas and his way from prince of light to king of darkness :). For me, it would be much more attractive than a story about orcs and men.

Subjective preference. Not saying it would be more successful than this in terms of revenues.
I guess most of today's WoW playerbase can't relate to Orcs vs Humans anyway. Then the movie also plays in some sort of alternative timeline, so it is really nothing "World of Warcraft" about it.

It's basicly a generic fantasy movie in a warcraft setting nobody can relate to storywise.

But then, Blizzard always takes the easiest way out and they don't care for their own lore anymore. If the lore could become complicated and cause an effort, they just pull another portal out of the hat that leads to some different timeline.

I think that would have been a better way to start the movie franchise off to focus on a single character.
