The first producer letter from Daybreak Game company since the split of H1Z1 into two separate titles (Just Survive and King of the Kill) has been published on both sites. The letter addresses a number of changes coming to both games and each individual title.

They are too focused on cosmetic and fluff additions though. They really need to make zombies and other PvE more of a challenge.
Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile
Tells its own story - and why wearables are unlikely to help. Before you can sell people "wearable" etc. they have to be playing the game.
But they absolutely do need to improve the depth of social interactions in survival games.
It has been shown a dozen times over that nobody really wants the shallow sort of survival these games have offered so far and they are by far more interested in buying serial killer simulators.
It was early access m8.
How can you complain about lack of content they should have added when it was not EVEN RELEASED YET?
"going into arguments with idiots is a lost cause, it requires you to stoop down to their level and you can't win"
Because they were charging money for it and selling stuff for more than a year?
No amount of lying can get over this...
Days after the split. They updated news on the "Battle Royal Generic King of the Hill Crap" section but left no news, information, etc on the "Just Survive" part.
I've been playing H1z1 for as long as about anyone I know.
The reason is survives on the battle royale (King of the hill) side is due to twitch hype.
Even that has diminished vastly.
They sold a game on a lie, then updated like crazy the add on part of the game (But only as far as to say...they added crates and a few fixes a month) and like added 1 location in a year time for the pve game which most of us bought it for.
They divided the team but it seems like they only have 1 person for the just survive part.
Even as of now they have yet to update players on jackshit via steam...the store front and location you play from...No news. Nothing aside from news on the King of the Hill side.
The game is rubbish and no amount of fanyboys can say otherwise. Considering I have 100's of hours in game (and most were spent fixing bugs lol).
Yeah they've been micro since EA release. So you tell us sunshine?
Can we not talk smack about a company run by a Russian venture group?
Because that's what Daybreak is. Given Russian ventures rarely operate "legit" by western mindsets I'm pretty sure Daybreak is gonna take the money and run.
The problem with both of these games, they get people to play for a bit because of the zombies, but after they realize neither game has any depth, they soon depart.
