    Hum..

Guilds - agree just to linear after one run through and way to short.

Dungeons - Make some really feel epic instead of cramped instance and make them seamless entry and exit. Multiple entry and exit sounds cool can go into various different areas. Make them unique. I rather have 50 unique dungeons than 300 copy paste.

Levels - NOOOOOOOO! all skills are gained and leveled as you use them and give more usefulness as they level but for gods sake no more fucking levels!

Decision trees? NO this is sandbox. screw the main quest shit and give many sub quests and lore quests (daily, hourly or whatever) that allow you to level the skills.

    Co-op - WOOT! love it 4 max.

Engine - 64 bit and stable so the bugs are not so irritating.

World 3 to 4 times larger. (1800 hours in Skyrim = 3000 more in this one)

    My 2 copper.

I would like to see more combat like Dragon's Dogma. Story more nuanced like a bioware tale.

Again, like Dragon's Dogma, more climbing, ladders, rocks, bosses.

Go back to spell making. I would like to see the different types of weapon and armor designs be varied but depending on what the material was, they could be different colored.

So an example, having all the weapon and armor designs but if made of ebony then have that blackish color, if made of steel, be steel colored, glass, have the glass coloration.

I really liked the look of the Elven  armor and weapons but felt I needed to give it up for such things like glass.

Make two different games. One for PC and one for Consoles. I know it won't happen but i can dream.

As long as they keep using the same tired engine there wont be many improvements.

    Add a cash shop ;)

Funny part they will. Remember Skyrim paid mods? Then Bethesda with the help Valve aloud it to make more money off of other people work.

    Bring back spellcrafting.

Non-linear dungeons are also a good idea. Procedurally generated non-linear dungeons (non-story ones at least) are a better idea.

Continue to tweak level scaling. Skyrim was leagues better than Oblivion, but it still needs adjusting. Better yet, allow the player to adjust it to their liking at game start.
    Bring back spellcrafting.

Meaningful dialogue would be nice. Also, less 'forced' actions. My goody-two-shoes character would never murder somebody in cold blood, yet one fairly major quest line and a few sidequests require it.

    Bring back spellcrafting.

Meaningful guilds would be great. Let me increase my rank and take on more challenging missions, build new guild halls, accept new recruits, clash with rival guilds (Morag Tong vs. Brotherhood, anyone?) etc. Make them feel more like actual guilds instead of just another set of quests to do for loot.

Skyrim's leveling is so much better than the previous games. However, I'd like them to switch to a completely skill-based system.

Tweak the AI, especially when dealing with stealth. I love my sneaky character, but past a certain point the sneak skill pretty much breaks the game. Plus on the rare occasions where you are detected, everything within a ten mile radius is instantly alerted to your presence, and apparently you're being tracked via satellite since they all know right where you've since moved to.

Also, have I mentioned they should bring back spellcrafting?

AN' DERE AIN'T NO SUCH FING AS ENUFF DAKKA, YA GROT! Enuff'z more than ya got an' less than too much an' there ain't no such fing as too much dakka. Say dere is, and me Squiggoff'z eatin' tonight!

We are born of the blood. Made men by the blood. Undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open. FEAR THE OLD BLOOD.

If the trend continues, it should be more simplified than before. I wish they would bring it to Morrowind level of difficulty (with the obvious improvements).

Edit: Stats matter, race traits, minor and major skills, specialization. Bring back those.

    1. fix their engine so the game works.
    2. make the combat feel like you hit something.
    3. have less useless quests that add nothing but tedium to the game.

Make it more Morrowind and less Skyrim.

Make it a little more like Dark Souls.  Other players can leave messages as hints, you can see ghosts of how they died, invasions.  Put more energy into fixing bugs.  The players usually most of the bug fixing.

I love Souls series and have contributed an insane amount of time in them. Saying that so wouldn't think I don't like them ;)

I don't think this is actually a good idea for ES. Explorations and discoveries should be a huge part of this game and if it was up to I would've DDOS'ed all the sites putting out guides as well :|

Invasions doesn't work here neither because unlike ES in Souls series you're always ready for combat.

I agree modernize the engine. Its pretty much an iteration of Gamebryo. They need to either start with a fresh engine, or modernize the underlying code. The engine itself is holding their games back.

Loot was the biggest weakness. Everything worth having was from crafting so little incentive to actually explore this giant awesome world. I don't think I found a single upgrade in my entire Skyrim run, I knew crafting would be overpowered and boy was that an understatement. Even so Skyrim was amazing, the next one doesn't even have to be better, just has to be as good with a few upgraded mechanics/features.

I would love if for once khajiits are welcomed into the main cities with open arms.

I would really like to see the engine and graphics package made available for other groups to make different games out of.  Mainly because I loved the way Skyrim worked as a game (except for losing your horse all the time and the unkillable characters...) but I really don't like the horror flavor the elder scrolls games all have. :/
I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story.  So PM me if you are starting one.

Id like next TES to be less of a console trash, but that obviously wont happen.

I do agree I wish they would make a PC version but then I am MMO oriented and would like a better UI and third person being a valid way to play.

If F4 is any indication of what we will get, then don't expect much except a more linear/simplified RPG experience with all the bugs you would expect from a Bethesda game.

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

Add at least one really deep dungeon that takes 10-20 hours to complete.

In theory, it should be incredibly easy to make the perfect MMORPG using Skyrim:

    • Copy what worked for WoW during 2004-2008. (No flying mounts / teleporting, enable whole world PvP with raids, pet battles etc)
    • Use Skyrim's fighting mechanics instead of WoW's.
    • Use Skyrim's more realistic graphics instead of WoW's.
There you go - that's it!

You would think that developers would have the common sense to copy what works, but they do not appear to.
