Pre orders and a 2016 release, seems out of hand when considering they have not mentioned anything yet.

The actual site and listing that shows 2016 release and developer "Valve" and 449 KR as the cost.

It still is not confirmed ,they could simply be speculating because i notice 449 KR is a common price they charge for new games.Eve nstill why bother to put this up with no word of a game coming in 2016.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Perhaps that web etailer will correct their "mistake" once they've attracted enough page views ? :D

Yes i get the "mistake " reference, that is usually what they like to claim if it was a blatant attempt at page clicks.Oh we are sorry  bla bla lol.
However it is not out of the realm that somebody inside leaks information to a friend outside, quite possibly several leaks could happen.
I think word would have leaked out though, through Gamasutra or something like that,i haven't personally done a lot of research myself...yet.

Still ridiculous.this game would be a massive seller,no idea why Valve has not followed up in so many years.Perhaps they believed that a sequel sometimes fails becaaue it has to live up to too much hype.

    Half Life 1 revolutionized gaming
    Half Life 2 revolutionized gaming
They probably don't want to release a game that looks too much like a standard FPS. People will bash on it (just like Duke Nukem). I think they are waiting for the opportunity to :
    - Upgrade their game engine
    - Have a new "revolutionary" idea around it (maybe VR? ) HL2 had awesome Physics for example

My bet, we will see Half-Life 3 soon. Valve has put in the legwork. Steam Machines, VR, Controllers. My bet you will have those stupid things that suck you up to the roof in full VR.
