Google Pics not pasting.

So whenever I copy a pic from google and paste it on a post it just shows the link instead of the actual picture itself.  But imgur works when I copy and paste pics.  Can this be fixed or is this something I'm doing wrong?
Are you onto something or just on something?

    I think you have to use the "attach image/file" button then past the link.

    If you are trying to past it in the post directly then that's not going to work.

    What do you mean "from google"? You do a search, go to the pictures tab and right click on an image and try to paste it?

    What you see on that page are thumbnails and no you can't paste those. You get this:

    But if you click on the thumbnail then right click and "copy image" you can paste it just fine:
