in English it means

Yoshinori Kitase (Square, producer): "We are required to be more careful because of changing social trends"

Tetsuya Nomura (Square, director): "Like the Honeybee Inn"

(the honeybee inn represented a brothel if you didn't know)

Honeybee Inn

Really starting to hate SJW.

Are there SJWs in Japan or are they already eyeing the na/eu market?

It's an interview with Dengeki Playstation, if it was only a Japanese release, this wouldn't matter and they would just release it as is. FFVII will be a world release.

The West is increasingly embracing censorship and is increasingly limiting artistic freedom. I read that a magazine in a US store just got pulled because there was a woman showing too much skin, she wasn't even naked.

    You are assuming a lot.

"changing social trends". That just means more and more people in society view prostituion, and the sex work industry, as exploitative of women. In NZ we have it legalized - and still have lots and lots of problems. The people making this game aren't morons. They are allowed thier own opinions too.

Just because someone does something, doesn't mean they are caving to feminists, SJW's or lefties. Maybe they agree with some of it. Maybe they have more women on staff now, and young people, and they don't like it or are uncomfortable with it, or don't think it's important even - other things should be emphasized. I dunno.

But also, I've noticed Asian countries often sensor gratuitous sex stuff that gets sent here - they seem to think we in the west are all terribly innocent and naive or something. It's bizarre. Like have they seen youporn or tube galore? FML.
