To any AO Gurus

I have had a hard time getting AO to run on Win 7,8.1 and 10.  I finally figured out how to get it to run on Win 10.  However, there is still a problem.  When I finish creating my character and go to give it a name It says that I am already logged in.  If I make a new account the same thing happens.  One time the AO people created a character for me and that worked !  After that AO support gave up on me.  Does anyone have any ideas ??
