I changed (that is, tried to change) my avatar today, and this is what happened:
On my "old" account (main page --> profile) the new avatar is enlisted (I even had to upload it more times, it was repeatedly resetting to "no avatar") but not active; Also, after I save changes, the message "passwords do not match" appears - this is similar to an old issue "report" with password, while I am still able to log in in spite of the error message.
Since I uploaded new avatar today, there is no avatar enlisted on the main page, next to my name in the upper left corner (neither old nor new avatar is showing).
On my "new" account (say, main page --> forums --> James Goblin) the old Avatar (better to say, the intermediate one) was stuck for some time (see the brackets below), but the new one is displayed now.
On forums, I can see the new avatar (after maybe 20 minutes of waiting, log in & log outing and such).
Edit: Now, none of the animated GIF avatars works on forums - while they load without problems and work/move as intended in "edit profile".
Not even the one that worked yesterday is moving now - only the first, frozen frame is there. I tried deleting & re-uploading avatars, logging out etc. and it is still stuck.
I want to imbed YouTube videos again. You used to let us do that. I don't see why you took the option away. It's not like they auto play so there should be no page lag issues.
Captcha error is getting old... Hard enough to get keys from giveaways I am interested in..even if I get there on time I don't get a key. Thankfully I don't really care too much about losing this key.
I've had this account for several years, but haven't been on in a while. It's treating me like a new user, and I can't even start a thread. Is this intended?

my first impression of these new forums is overwhelmingly negative.
they look cheap, cluttered, distracting, fonts are boring, whats with the silly "badges"? and annoying pop-ups?; there are two version of the settings page now adding to the confusion but most important of all : where is the time and date on posts??!! Am I missing something?
see you guys in another year hope you sort this ugly thing out.
Not that it references a lot of folks here, but the website crashes continuously on my iPad 4 with 7.12 os. Might get to read 3 or 4 posts before it drops to the iTop. Just so's you know

When I click on the page number at the bottom of a page of posts it takes me to the bottom of the page I clicked (not to the top of the page where I want to continue reading). I have to scroll up in order to start reading from the top.
Not sure if this has been mentioned (I don't have time atm to sift through 19+ pages).
When viewing the forum discussion topics (notable recent discussions) in mobile view, there is no field that displays the forum that the topic is from (e.g. will see title of thread, author, etc.. but without the context, the viewer has no idea what game of subject the thread pertains to unless OP put it in title.)
So, might see a thread labeled "Question about this game" but without listing the forum, you have NO idea as to what this post refers to.
About 4 days ago i started hsving an issue in mobile view. When i post a message my keypad pops up over the comments box obscuring it from view. I cant scroll the view screen up to view what i am typing unless i tap on a message above mine, which makes the keypad minimize. Soon as i try to type something, back to same issue . behavior just started, could be related to recent font changes.

Did you guys change something when these forums initially launched I was unable to use them unless I used a proxy but now I can connect from Italy normally.
I am shocked at this level of incompetence and complete disregard for your community and our contributions. You just threw it all away. Well, I am doing the same with this site!

I cannot add a signature from imageshack .I used the toggle html and tried that to but nothing works it just displays the link as a clickable link but the image is not there. Any one have any ideas.
I really miss having the forum name listed in its own column in the Recent Discussions list. It's just very hard to scan now as part of the thread title -- it's better to be able to see all together in one column which game or forum the thread is in. Also the dark blue is hard to read. Any chance of going back to the old link color (the orangey one used on the home page)?
Just as a side note, I'm visiting the site a lot less with the new scheme. It's just hard to read the discussions. Love all the new editing features, just need better readability and easier scanning.

THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT POST, JUST PICKED ONE FOR EXAMPLE.
Can't report on smartphone because you can't scroll that popup, and can't zoom out.
Just changing the radios to a select tag would probably fix.
Spec'ing properly is a gateway drug.

At least the above link to one of the featured imageshack pictures works.
Have you made sure that your picture link leads only to picture? If it leads to a webpage with the picture then it won't work.
Just as a side note, I'm visiting the site a lot less with the new scheme. It's just hard to read the discussions. Love all the new editing features, just need better readability and easier scanning.
