[H-THRALL] Tired of Guild Shopping? Grievance is Recruiting!

ShieraShiera Member UncommonPosts: 16
Grievance is recruiting for our Horde guild on Thrall.

http://www.grievancegaming.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=475

Ever buy a game (or download a free to play MMO) and sit there waiting to choose a server, hoping you choose a good one with good people that are helpful, and not just jerks that flame you when you ask a question? Ever hate joining a guild because you know no one? Ever hop from guild to guild trying to find one that suits you and your play style? Have you ever quit a game that you liked, but could never get help from guildies, or even find a guild that you liked? Well, I am here to tell you there is an answer. Grievance is here to have fun with you, to raid with you if you wish, and to explore and enjoy your game with you.

Grievance is an online gaming community that spans many games.

Grievance is a family-oriented online gaming community. We have a very rich and honorable heritage that spans many games over many years, during which Grievance has proven that one can have a very rewarding gaming experience, yet have a life as well. The concepts of family, honor, and loyalty are hallmarks of Grievance, and are expected to be upheld and respected by all members.

Grievance is an adult gaming community, 18+ only. We have many long term members. This is no start-up guild! We were formed in October 15, 2000. We were not always known as Grievance, but the membership has been strong and growing! We are one of the few trademarked guilds in all gaming communities. We are comprised of singles, married couples, retired people, military members, college students, and people located through out the US and other nations.

When you join Grievance, you join a family. This family spans many games, and even on opposite sides of the same game. Grievance is always a strong presence in games they are in. Grievance even has a real life get together, like a family reunion. We have this every year. We have a strong management support for each game, not same leaders in every game at one time.

We at Grievance are always looking to expand as anyone would expect. The larger the Grievance community the better it is. Wouldn't it be nice to start a game at launch, and have a lot of Grievance members log in with you, on the same server and same side? Imagine the friendships you will make with such a strong gaming community.

If Grievance seems like the place for you, please feel free to visit our forums, as they are free to register and browse. Come see what games we are in and the servers we reside on. There is always an officer of a certain game or a council member willing to answer any questions. We hope you will come take a look, and introduce yourself in the Forum Registration/Applications Forum. Let us know a bit about yourself and what games you are interested or currently playing in. Hope to see you there.

We are looking for raiders!  We aren't hardcore and we don't treat raidng like a second job.  We understand that family comes first, and that things happen that will prevent you from coming to a raid occasionally.  We will NOT hold that against you.  So if you are looking for a family friendly raiding guild...come check us out!

If you are looking for the last guild you will ever need to join, family values, loyalty and honor among friends then this org may be the place for you. Give a look.

    Hi and well met!

I encourage you to read some of the previous posts in this thread. They reflect our family nature, our no drama atmosphere and our wonderful balance between being casual yet serious when we raid. There is no requirement to raid to be with us, however if you do wish to, you can expect a great experience. We have experienced leaders, and we treat folks with respect. We spend time with folks to help them improve their raid performance and toon.

We also do fun events and have off nights. We are part of a multi-gaming organization that offers so much! There's other games you can play with friends within Grievance, there's streams on Twitch, blogs, and the chance to be part of it all.

Please visit www.grievancegaming.org to check us out. If you have questions, you can PM me there. My forum name is Skye. I hope to see you soon!

Ahoy, mates, we're blasting through HfC at an unbelievable pace, slow and steady and full of guildies, fun, gear and stuff!  In two short hours, last week we cleared 5 bosses and got about 20 items for raiders including a few tier pieces.  We are having so much fun at this too, it's not at all work, though it is serious and carefully planned raiding.  Also, we are doing lots of grouping, heroics for your ring Cores, and we have a long tradition of doing contests and fun runs.  We're working on our Armored Skywing for Glory of the Thundering Raider.

Feel free also if you're in game, to /who Grievance on Thrall-US and ask for an officer, or just message me!   pia#1417

Horde Thrall?  Hey, that's my old server.  I don't play anymore, but waving a hand as a hello.

We have had so much fun this week and in the last few weeks have met many awesome new guildies.  I love hanging with all my guildies doing raids (we added an additional night of raiding!) and this fun run was a Throne of Thunder tribute run for mount rolls and pets.  We also have done some 5 mans as a group plus we've been leveling lowbies for laughs.

    Come join the fun!

We believe in the principles of family, loyalty, teamwork, personal responsibility, and friendliness.

We do offer many perks such as access to guild bank at all levels, guild repair for all, players online round the clock, and no shortage of people to group with including for your legendary runs, for your TJ dailies, and we are able to do that because of our awesome and plentiful guildies!

We attract people from all walks of life because we highly believe in the principles that all are welcome who can function well in a large group.  You're not going to hear any bullcrap politics and drama, and we have an optional mature channel for those who are PVP'ing or doing LFR or something in a group where things get intense.  All our other chat rooms are PG-13.

Though most of our guild are Hordies through and through, it's not a big deal if you play other games or play on the Alliance as most of us do have a few other games we want to try.

We'd appreciate finding any really cool members out there who want to give us a try.  You probably will find several people in your situation, those of you reading this who have really missed an awesome guild over the years, but you feel that you don't want to make new friends or find new people to play, many of us have found each other.  It's just so awesome!

Many of our guildies feel that they have come home when they found this group.  I encourage everyone to apply to www.grievancegaming.org and start up an account or merely message me on this toon or on pia#1417.

Like @Beya  I really truly wish I had found this guild much earlier in my wow life than I have.

Within the first week, I was pretty sure I wouldn't need to look for another guild again, and for that matter another guild in any game I choose to play, because grievance isnt just a guild but a gaming communityw ith their hands in many games, they are a great group of positive helpful people.

As the old addage goes, you get out of something what you put into it. This is especially true for Grievance, if you are sociable and get yourself involved you will find people willing to do almost anything with you, and for you.

Please check out a really awesome, fun guild absolutely FULL of adults who just want to relax in game and have a good time.  Come check us out at www.grievancegaming.org.  Create a website identity and apply in our forums post!

We're clearing HFC at the moment with groups ranging from small 10-12 to 20 or more twice a week.

A bunch of us got our mounts today for 6.2 and did some raiding and LFR as a big group.  We are on Iskar now and we raid about 2x a week or more.  With fun runs to win cool mounts.  This week, we're working on ToT for Glory of the Thundering Raider and the Armored Skywing.

Please come check us out if you would like to meet some awesome people who know what it means to keep a good guild together.  We try very hard to make it a fun day every day you are online.

Although I have played WOW since early on, I joined Grievance a little shy of 3 years ago to play another game. I was immediately floored at how tight knit the community was for being such a large organization.  As I continued to play on I dabbled in some of the other games that Grievance had to offer and found that the community for each game was just as great as the others.  A little time has passed and I decided to come back to my MMO roots and jump back into WOW again.  Naturally, I followed the Grievance path and joined up with the Horde guild here on Thrall. Bar none, these guys and gals are just such a great group of people to game and even hang out with. Got my gear level up and recently started back raiding with them and I am really having a good time at it.  I can certainly echo what has already been said, and that is that Grievance is family.  It is not just some one off guild, but a family and community that I can see myself continuing to be a part of indefinitely.

Another awesome week for the guild!

We're farming the first 6 bosses or so of Hellfire Citadel weekly with a progression run (or two) per week for the last 2 weeks.

We are looking forward to the IRL meetup in Lake Lanier, GA in June, 2016.  Just a few more months!

We are doing Mythics for funsies when we have downtime and 5 members on who want to go

We do the Weekend Events (we're doing the Weekend Event: Call to Battle) as a group and we always ALWAYS do the Timewalking!  Those are great fun, and we always cap out 7/7 every week!

We just have so much fun and we always try to get together as a big group and do fun things, no matter what the content is like.  We're dedicated to the game and to our guild, and the concepts of family, honor and loyalty, can't go wrong!
  • piababypiababy Member UncommonPosts: 15
Lately, we've been busy clearing and gearing!

    1. We've been doing Mythic 5 man content, regardless of whether it's the weekend event!
    2. We've been clearing more bosses and getting our guildies more loot in Hellfire Citadel, recently clearing Iskar, Fel Lord Zakun and Gorefiend!
    3. We're gearing friends in Tanaan Jungle as a big group and working on getting flying in big groups for those who still need it!
    4. We still do weekly fun runs, doing Throne of Thunder clears now, will be doing Heroic Throne of Thunder next week, working on our Glory of the Thundering Raider/Armored Skywing Mount!
    5. We're working on a LEGENDARY race for our combined Horde and Alliance guilds for crazy fun prizes!
This is for real, we do these pretty much daily.  If you're looking for new friends because you haven't been gaming 24/7 like you used to, have a family or real life obligations, really this guild is going to make you do cartwheels and jumping jacks like you used to when you had hella fun friends gaming every night.  You will feel like you can get caught up right away and start playing with friends.  Come check us out at www.grievancegaming.org and look at the WoW-H Applicant forums and see who has recently signed up and come play!

Been a busy few weeks for Grievance since I last talked to you all. 2 more raid bosses down in HFC. Socrethar and Mannoroth, putting us at 11/13 and leaving us staring down the pipe at Archimonde, it is only a matter of time now for the kill.
We had our firsst naked race, with our Alliance affiliate of Grievance. The event spanned 2 nights, with a great turnout of about 40 people per night, great prizes such as mounts, heirlooms, pets and other items were won an. We had such a great time doing them that immediately plans were starting to be made for a second run in the near future.
a steady influx of players has seen our evenings grow to an average of 20+ people onlinein the evening, giving the opportunity to get different group activities to be formed.
Mikiki's Saturday night fun runs into older raid content to clear for achievemants, transmog gear, mounts and pets has continued to be popular, giving a variety of people completion on glory of the raider achievemants for various expacs.

If you are looking for a great guild and great gaming community with strong Family values. Grievance may be a perfect fit for  you, I know it has for me.

Fabulous raiding this week, had an exceptional guildie save to a tier run to get our new raiders up.  We had a pro raid leader and a pro officer helping him to get five bosses done in less than two hours and two shot the only one boss we didn't one shot.

    Great teamwork and professionalism.

Also, our race was outstanding!  We gave away a total of 200K gold, 10 mounts, 16 pets and 16 hexxweave bags amongst our two World of Warcraft faction guilds, the other being Alliance on Proudmoore.  Some really great time and I'm thrilled to get to know some of our top notch Alliance players too.

Really a great week to be in Grievance.  Come check out our fabulous guild media including www.gtgn.tv site, our real life get together in Atlanta news, our 2016 real life Atlanta news release, some great attendance at Pensacon, Tri-Con, Questcon, and I believe one of our fabulous charter members, Skye, went to Salt Lake Con about 3 weeks ago.

Never a dull moment and we work hard to make our guild fun for everyone, something for all tastes as long as you put your good foot forward, you'll find yourself welcome here!

Hey guys, just celebrated our 15th year as a guild!  Expecting a really great year for our 15th IRL meetup in Lake Lanier, GA!

We are 11/13 Normal (some guildies have a few Heroic kills as well) in Hellfire Citadel.  Working on farms of Tier bosses, courtesy of one of our officers.  We're looking for great guildies who excel in positions of TEAMWORK and working as a unit.  However, we have an especial need for heals or healing offspecs! If you are OK flipping in and out of roles as need be, you need to come and check us out.  Any monks, shammy, priest, druids, pallies, come join us for some farms or progression.

We have done a lot this week, from farming for olde school mounts to Timewalker to finishing up Pathfinder for our guild, we excel at grouping in large groups and having everyone seeing us in Tanaan Jungle!  We've also joined up with 6 or 7 new guildies this week alone, and we're hoping to get to know them too and have many years together.

I've just celebrated my 2nd year anniversary in June and I can't wait to hit the 3 marker in 2016 as well.

Don't sit there wondering if this is the guild for you, just take the jump and you won't be sorry!  Many friends and adventures are waiting for you.  I am so glad I joined and it's been the best guild ever!

Hello Prospective shoppers. Has been a fun couple weeks fot the guild. just wrapped up a halloween event planned by one of our members Unseendead, and our Recruit officer Mikiki, Ran it over the course of the weekend and did a treasure hunt, Hallows end achievemants, and a costume/transmog contest, with 1000's of gold and items going out as prizes. We continue to help people with runs needed for progressing through the legendary ring questline.

we are now 12/13 on normal, the guild has been busy as usual. due to end of expansion burnout our healing core thinned out quite a bit, so could definately use some more people who enjoy healing, a dps offspec is a definite bonus, as well, Our ranged core is pretty thin pickings, meaning it is mostly all hunters and a warlock the majority of the time lol, so would love to see some diversity there as well.

If you are interested in a family oriested gaming community, come visit us and take a look at www.grievancegaming.org

Hello WoW peoples, been a couple weeks since I talked to you all. but it has been another busy two weeks for grievance, lots of people online doing various things. Although raiding for alot of guilds has slowed down, Grievance keeps plugging along, with a recent 3 kills in Heroic it puts us at 3/13 heroic, and 12/13 on normal for hellfire Citadel raid bosses. Given the amount of time Grievance devotes to raiding, that being 2 hrs  a night on Tuesday and Thursday, I think we are making some pretty dcent progress. We are indeed looking especially for some Ranged Casting classes, and Healers especially to shore up some holes we are sometimes faced with, to help us push through these bosses while at the same time continuing to provide a social family friendly atmosphere, that any lover of WoW can call home. A ton of great new friendly recruits have kept us busy and entertained, as well as the happiness of some old members returning to try out the game with all the legion announcements.

With the new patch drop and new timewalking the first few days of this week have been especially busy, with timewalking, heroics, and mythic dungeons being done on a regular basis.

So if you are looking for the type of guild we speak about in our myriad of posts of above, if you are a returning player whose guild died away while you have been gone. Or look at WoW as your social outlet and enjoy chatting with others in Teamspeak. Give us a look we may be the guild for you.

    Cheers,
    Shifty
  • piababypiababy Member UncommonPosts: 15
    Happy Thanksgiving holiday everyone!

Shifty is exactly right, Grievance's Horde guild is amazingly fun.

We're making HUGE progress in our very focused short raid nights, EVERYONE is having fun and getting stuff done as a group.  You can see our progress on WoW-Progress, but we all have lives AND we all play a lot, PLUS we raid.  No kid is going to yell at you because you had to work late or a family member got sick and you couldn't raid.  We have lives.

How do we do this?  It's not magic!  We just have a ton of active members and we play as a group or we're in TeamSpeak and we ask for what we need and we hear others who need something and we help them get done too.  Likely that someone ELSE needs exactly what you need, too.

Some of the most awesome people came to our guild and thought, well this guild is probably going to be the same as other guilds, but that's not what happened.  Instead, they were shocked and surprised we were in groups of 5 at midnight, cruising Tanaan Jungle for some friends who needed iLvls up.

Some were surprised they could get pieces done for their Legendary ring in a group, often doing LFR on Sunday night because they were working all week.

Some were lacking a piece here or there, and someone kindly made them an item with their own mats, asking nothing in return.  This was not demanded or expected.  Someone felt like doing that just to be awesome.

A lot of players are going to be curious about Legion and want to see some of the content they missed out on.  Don't worry!  Just jump right in, we'll be on playing and working with you, probably doing some of the same things you need, just ask in TeamSpeak/gchat.  Here are some things I saw or heard people needed this week:

    1) mount or achievement runs of old raids
    2) needed a tank/healer to shorten a queue
    3) mythic dungeon
    4) help or tips with battle pets
    5) wanted to play lowbies for fun
    6) needed help with their class/spec
    7) needed help with iLvl
    8) Garrison daily dungeon
    9) Invasion with friends
    10) healing, damage dealing or tanking in offspec to get a need accomplished.

No problem!  I didn't talk to anyone who couldn't get their stuff done because no one helped them.  We normally have on around 10 people every day and 20 on raid nights.

Don't sit there thinking, well I will be forgotten in a big guild like this.  Once you hear people talking in TeamSpeak, you will know that is not true.  I've made tons of friends who don't log in all the time, but the minute they do, it's like old friends again.  And in the meantime, I make plenty of new friends and get to know them.

Guilds come and go, but Grievance has been around for 15 years and I don't see us going anywhere.  Tell your friends, if they come back to WoW, they can find you over on Grievance@WoW-Horde!

    Thanks :)

Some newsworthy events have been going on here in Grievance!

    1. Cleared Hellfire Citadel and now 4/13 Heroic
    2. Moar Mythic runs with friends
    3. Spontaneous Raid Nights, if we have enough on
    4. Finished a Guild achievement of Glory of the Mists Raider (and mount is available at Guild Vendor)
    5. Working on some legacy raids at level (we'll be trying to set some of these up before Legion comes out)
    6. Fully stocked TeamSpeak server with friends to do things with every night

If you think you'll be coming to play Legion and are left either alone in a guild which at one point was great but now is empty, or you're not sure if you'll be able to devote your entire life to game like it's your job, and you are looking for great people to play with like you, LOOK NO FURTHER!

Message me at pia#1417 or do a /who Grievance and ask someone if you think you'd like to come see what this guild is.
  • piababypiababy Member UncommonPosts: 15
Grievance on Thrall (Horde) Still really busy having fun in Warlords content! We recently defeated Archimonde (twice) and we're progressing on Heroic while still doing normal group runs. Our guild has never been more fun or stronger.

Have you decided what you might like to play in Legion? Want a bunch of level 100's to choose from to see what you might decide to main? Not sure what to do because friends aren't playing anymore, or your guild can't work with your IRL schedule?

Come check out Grievance! www.grievancegaming.com (create a user account then follow the links to the Applicant forums)

We're still doing TJ dailies. We still are doing Normal and Heroic runs, we're 13/13 Normal and 7/13 Heroic. We support both a casual gaming 2x a week and a more progression team 1x a week so you can get what you want out of the raidsWe have plenty of people on
We support a vast array of different types of people, players, creeds, etc. so we basically are after a drama free, positive gaming experience. No drama. No bullcrap. We'd love to have you, just message me on pia#1417 or check out the site and we'll get you going right away.

    Must be 18 or over!!!

In the last week or two, we've done a Secret Elf Gift Exchange, and have performed some Hellfire Citadel achievements, too!

That, in addition to our usual Guild Mythic Runs, helping those who want to gear up and receive Valor Points, and we're also working on a Herald of the Titans guild run.

Go check out this post Horde Year In Review 2015 to see what our year looked like in 2015.  We're so pleased to meet new people all the time, and to constantly have 10, 20 even 30 or 40 people online and an active TeamSpeak server!

We also support other games, be sure to join our website and apply in our New Applicants forum.

I've been very happy in my time with Grievance. It was exactly the guild I've been looking for. In addition to being extremely active, people just treat each other with respect. It's more of a multi-game family than just a guild. There are always people on to group with and the TeamSpeak server is very active. The raid environment is very fun on both progression nights and casual/alt runs, with raid leads being positive. I would highly recommend Grievance to anyone looking for a guild with good players and good people.
