A couple more servers (Withywindle and Silverlode) have now been opened for transfer. There are now very few closing servers left that you can't transfer from -- Snowbourn is probably the largest one.
They've also announced a third hardware stress test for today, 10pm-midnight GMT (5-7pm EST). The same bonuses before, everyone who logs in to Bullroarer during the test gets 100TP and put into a prize draw for a lifetime sub or a couple of high TP vouchers.
This time rather than have 10,000 people try to fill Bree, they want everyone to go to various places while turning on every festival in the game at once.

edit: indeed, I missed that line at the end. Apologies...
I think the draw is just a bait, no news on any winners from the previous two tests - on the contrary, some haven't receive even the base 100TP
As for the move, I plan to stick with Withy for a while. I transferred some smaller servers without any problems, but I have lots of stuff on Withy, so I wait for a couple days and watch the reviews
Yeah, it's a bit of bait but still. 100TP isn't worth a huge amount but it's a quantity that is actually worth something in game, and too small to buy directly with cash. I'd log in regardless, but I can understand the need to download a large client just for testing will put people off.
I've only seen good stuff lately about the transfers. I did a single character + account stuff from Brandywine to Landroval, and it worked without any problem at all, plus it was instant.
I just ment with the transfer part that usually after a new server is added onto the list, (maybe due to) the increased transfers used to cause stucked transfers in the first days. And then your account is locked for days, until they fix it. I don't need to hurry, my names are avaliable, so I'll just wait out the first rush
The U17.1 sneak peek part... the good, the bad and the ugly
Bad: (at least for me since spoke against insta levels since years, I'm sure it's a Good for some peeps), there will be a new Valar item, so if insta-lvl50 is not enough for some impatient people, now there will be an insta-lvl95 as well... with all the fluff (gear, consumables, 3 LIs, etc). I don't get it, LotRO has a great world... but if one wants to skip everything and jump to the end, it will be possible soon. For money, of course.
Good: housing changes (only a few, but that's still more than nothing), and especially the crafting. From U17.1 crafting stations arrive to houses. Maybe someone from the devs is playing Wildstar?
Ugly: (or at least suspicious) there's a box which contains crafting mats on a daily cooldown. Like Wildstar's gathering nodes I guess. Time will tell how these boxes will affect the AH and crafting overall. But sure, it's more convenient than going out into the wild and mining / chopping trees / seeking old ruins / etc
(also there are some bugfixes, small changes, and of course the PvMP changes which fueled a big dispute among pvp peeps, but I don't pvp so... heh)
The fun part, that was great as usual. All the festivals were on, Frostbluff already has the updates with which it will goes live (new steed is neat). Apparently this night was about "stairway to heaven", GMs built massive stairways on several locations (Frostbluff was maybe the largest, took about 10 seconds freefall from the top to the ground - and the massive fall damage
I couldn't climb the Ettenmoors steps as creeps were there in force with full on healers keeping things at 100% and one shotting everyone. Might be fun for them, but I think it was a bit unfair for people who just wanted to go up the stairs.
