Alright I am looking for a top down shooter/rpg hybrid, with a large world, trading, lots of blowing evil space things up (or zombies they are fine too), bonus points if it randomgens the world. Graphics are of a secondary concern if the gameplay is there. Game needs to be in english though.

For games that are simmlar: Space pirates and zombies on pc, Armada for sega dreamcast.

Systems I have access to: Pc, ps3, ps vita, 3ds, android smart phone, and anything that can be emulated reliably.

Hopefully you can suggest something because I have no idea what the hell I would flex my google-fu and look for to find stuff like this.

Thanks all.

Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:

A. Proven right (if something bad happens)

or

B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

Project Zomboid is in early access on steam.    it can be fun.  The devs do updates pretty frequently.

Ahh I tried project zomboid, got a refund because I found the game just annoying as hell to play with all the status conditions.
