Is Albion online closer to the UO-like expectations you had for SOTA?

To me it seems like Albion Online is a closer approximation of what a new spin on UO should be like. SOTA feels like they tried to use UO hype to promote an entirely new game concept that has really not much in common with UO.

    I bought into the initial hype of AO, but that game is terrible. It isn't even 1/10th of what UO was.

    I have played UO for 17 years , and i  intially had hope for AO .. it is no UO , not in any way,shape or form

    Aside from the top down view, it really is not like UO.

    No, but SotA is not any closer than AO.
    They are at the same distance (far)  but on opposite poles.

    AO = garbage.   And that being said it's still closer to UO than SoTa.  We were sold a bill of goods.
