Bioware has just announced that a new Mass Effect-themed attraction will be opening at California's Great America in Santa Clara, California in 2016. The attraction will feature 3D technology and 4D effects with a live performer escorting attendees on a journey to a planet where they will fight to save the day.

    Wow that actually sounds boring as hell. When you think about the kinda people who go to themeparks, mainly non-gamers.. will be like wth is mass effect.

    Why would they question that any more than "Gobbler Getaway" or "Coal Cracker"?

    Last time I checked every single Themepark/amusement park has an arcade...now why would that be?

    Tbh "non-gamers" are the minority among the younger generation at this point. Granted they're more likely to be playing leauge or cs:go than a single player rpg... but the point still stands.

    Well mostly because gamers are generally online not standing in lines at theme parks

    The only ride where you have to pay again to get on the ride after you've already paid to get into the park.
